Time to call out the Big Guns.
Some of you have heard thru FReepmail that a week and a half ago a mass was found during a routine chest X-Ray. 2 days later they did a CT Scan. Yesterday I had a Biopsy done. I just got off the phone with my Doctor.
I have cancer.
Specifically, Adenocarcinoma. More tests need to be done to determine the stage and if it is just the one tumor or if it has spread.
Please include me in your Prayers that this can be treated.The most powerful weapon I can employ in this fight is Prayer.

I’m home.
5 hours on an Insulin IV got me down to 250, safe enough to go home. Also doubled my daily insulin schedule. Have to see the Endocrinologist on Friday.

Prayers up for both our families. Hubby starting to wean off the steroids too and he just finished the radiation treatments for the brain mets. He should be starting taxotere in a week or so if his blood counts are OK. His appetite has tripled!

Been going over your recent posts, my prayers are sent for you!!! You said you live alone, is family helping?? I’m glad the cancer center got your blood sugar lowered. Also glad to hear you have found a staff who knows what to do.
Are you going to church?? I know you have deep faith, from reading your posts. Community is important and can help. Just thinking out loud, here.

I feel pretty good. Am at the Cancer Center now. Just finished setting up the Chemo Infusion. 3rd cycle starts today.
