Yeah, I know. Said some similar things about Bush in 2000. But at least he was pro-life, pro-family, etc, and thank God we supported him over the idiot All Green Gore.
Said similar things about McCain in 2008. But when asked the question "when does human life begin?," and he unabashedly stated, "At conception, of course," I had to take notice. Then when he announced Sarah Palin as his running mate, I decided to support her. I voted for Sarah (and the white haired old geezer that came along with the package).
But Romney is a NO go. And I don't care who this socialist, abortionist, homosexualist, constitution trampling bastard picks for running mate. If Romney's in I'm out!

Ok, we’ll start at the bottom of my long list and work our way up crossing off those we find unacceptable. The last conservative standing will be our endorsee.

What do Romney supporters, children, and Liberals have in common? They use the word "hate" to attribute motives for arguments they cannot counter reasonably. The child screams "Mommy, you HATE me!" when Mom says no to ice cream before dinner. The Liberal screams, "Right wingers HATE blacks!" when conservatives object to affirmative action that is racist to the core.
And the Romney supporter screams "You HATE Romney and/or Mormons!" when conservatives object to Romney's track record of betraying conservative principle such as smaller government and the abomination to God that is government-subsidized abortion.
Your tagline is a perfect example of emotional, childish mindlessness raising its ugly head.
He was liberal when he got there and he was the fourth Republican Governor in a row.
Well, support RINOs then. Just know that some of us will not do so under any circumstances.
But frankly, I find it shocking that you can survey the wrechage created by years of the compromise of principle and then reach the conclusion that the answer to cleaning up the mess is more compromise.
Make that “wreckage.”

Let me see, she took on the the state Republicans and won.
She took on the state Democrats and won.
She took on the oil companies and won.
She was the only real fighter in the McCain campaign.
She hasn't been bowed by the brutal media onslaught.
She articulates conservative social principles and sticks by them.
She cut Alaska's spending to balance the budget.
She supports gun rights.
She understands both the economic and strategic value of energy exploration.
She stands up for low taxes.
Frankly, I don't see how she can have stones that big and still be so damn HOT!

Don’t you think that Palin running with Mclame clearly showed she agrees with him on the issues more then she disagrees?
I know you’re one of the last people I would ever have to re-hash all of McCain’s BIG govt, rino positions. He’s done more to stab conservatives in the back and help his “friends” across the isle then anything he’s ever done to prove he’s conservative. He might as well switch parties for a all I care.
Palin would’ve gone along with him just to get her hat in the ring for the future? That’s sad if true.
How about "settling" for a Ronald Reagan, maybe someone who, like Ron, honed his speaking skills on radio, and is practiced at delivering a Conservative-with-a-capital-'C' message?

Sarah Palin is ‘the new Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan’
American conservatives have reacted with near ecstasy to the Republican convention speech by Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska....
A star is born. She stuck the knife in with a big smile, a kind of ‘Make my day’ look,” said Michael Barone, conservative columnist and editor of “The Almanac of American Politics”.
In a column entitled “Welcome Back, Dad”, Michael Reagan, adopted son of the late president, wrote: “I saw my Dad reborn; only this time he’s a she. And what a she!”
Larry Kudlow asked whether “we’re not witnessing the Western frontier version of Margaret Thatcher”.
He added: “She connected really well with middle-class working folks, both in cultural and social terms, which is no small feat: values matter and the Democrats are in trouble here - big-time. The more they go after Palin culturally, as they have already, the more trouble they’ll fall into.”
Jonah Goldberg of the conservative “National Review” enthused: “She was put on this earth to do two things: kill caribou and kick butt. She’s all out of caribou.”
Mrs Palin electrified the Republican convention, declaring herself an “average hockey mom” and launching a blistering attack on Barack Obama, the Democratic nominee and his “clouds of rhetoric”.
After three days of scorn from Democrats and relentless media scrutiny, Mrs Palin came out punching, mocking Mr Obama as someone who makes “dramatic speeches before devoted followers” and has “authored two memoirs but not a single major law or reform - not even in the state senate”.
Throwing down the gauntlet to the press, she said: “I’m not a member of the permanent political establishment. And I’ve learned quickly, these past few days, that if you’re not a member in good standing of the Washington elite, then some in the media consider a candidate unqualified for that reason alone.
“But here’s a little news flash for all those reporters and commentators: I’m not going to Washington to seek their good opinion; I’m going to Washington to serve the people of this country.”
Those are a lot of accusations against someone most of us thought was a Conservative.

She “took on” one of the worst RINO’s for a running mate? That right there shows she won’t be my future candidate.
It’s probably just as well, Jim. I know here in the South there are alot, and I do me ALOT, of hardcore Christians that won’t vote for him because he’s mormon. He has no chance of winning the White House.
