We have all said it time and time again, Obama is NOT a Christian. He is a Muslim, he even bows down to Muslim leaders, but will give no respect to Christan leaders. We have for many years seen the courts make rulings based on their belief that our founding fathers did not want God anywhere near our government.
Well, if we are supposed to be a country who's government is by and for the people, and it is people who wrote the preambles of the US Constitution and the State Constitutions, then God is very much as part of our government as people are.
Follow this link and you will see what your states preamble say's about Gob, A Judeo Christian Nation

And why should we care?
Thank you for posting this thread. I take heart to read of other like minded souls who are as concerned about this as I am.
What dose it matter what the state constitution says?
CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO
Approved July 3, 1890
PREAMBLE
We, the people of the state of Idaho, grateful to Almighty God for our freedom, to secure its blessings and promote our common welfare do establish this Constitution.
OKLAHOMA:
PREAMBLE
Invoking the guidance of Almighty God, in order to secure and perpetuate the blessing of liberty; to secure just and rightful government; to promote our mutual welfare and happiness, we, the people of the State of Oklahoma, do ordain and establish this Constitution.
Because the documents establishing governments tells volumes about the character of the nation and its people.
Paying homage to God is the first, greatest act any nation can, and should, do.
Preamble
We the people of the State of Arizona, grateful to Almighty God for our liberties, do ordain this Constitution.
I’m curious, does Christ ever get mentioned, or is it always just a generic Creator/God that gets the nod in these documents?
Connecticut: The People of Connecticut acknowledging with gratitude, the good providence of God, in having permitted them to enjoy a free government; do, in order more effectually to define, secure, and perpetuate the liberties, rights and privileges which they have derived from their ancestors; hereby, after a careful consideration and revision, ordain and establish the following constitution and form of civil government.
Which God?
"Every individual has a natural and unalienable right to worship God according to the dictates of his own conscience."
Atheists will find out soon enough!
There is only one God. Jehovah, Yahweh, I Am Who I Am. God the Father, indivisible from God the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Triune God.
In the words of
The Nicene Creed
I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds; God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made.
Who, for us men and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried; and the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father; and He shall come again, with glory, to judge the quick and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end.
And I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of Life; who proceeds from the Father and the Son; who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets.
And I believe in one holy Christian and apostolic Church. I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; and I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
