WASHINGTON, DC This weekend, former Vice President Dick Cheney said Rush Limbaugh was his model Republican. Thousands of young republicans around the country are making daring changes to live up to their new conservative ideal.
On Face the Nation this Sunday, Dick Cheney was invited on to speak about his ideas regarding the future of the Republican Party. In this interview, Cheney stated he believed the model Republican would be popular radio host Rush Limbaugh. He went on to describe the various ways that Republicans should follow the Rush example.
Parents should be pulling their kids out of college, said Dick Cheney. I mean, if you love your country and youre a patriot, you wont send your children to college. These are institutions that brainwash impressionable young minds with their liberal agenda. Giving your money to something like that, you might as well be funding terrorism. They are the real threat to Americas future. Now look at Rush Limbaugh. He makes more money per year than some African nations and he never finished college. He got kicked out after one year!
Republicans have taken his words to heart and are now...

The good news, Cheney is right.
The bad news, Cheney is right.
I would note that this article is humorous, except that it is not funny.
But, seriously... If I could attain the kind of wealth and success that Limbaugh has achieved by dropping out of college, I would be gone the next day. College is not a prerequisite for success.
Wanda Sykes compared Dick Cheney to a child molester at her audience with the POTUS.
She attacked Rush over his prescription drug addiction. She mentioned how the press manages to “catch” photos of Barack with his shirt off (just as they “caught” that photo of Mr. & Missus Clinton dancing in swimwear on a “secluded” beach to no music) but they don’t ever catch him smoking a cigarette. She completely stayed clear of bringing up Obama’s own admitted cocaine and pot use.
This is not funny. Just stupid.

is this satire?
Instead of suggesting parents take their kids out of college, maybe he should suggest parents teach their kids some critical analysis skills. That might the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard Cheney say.
If my child is fed liberal hogwash and stupid agendas, yeah i will pull him out of college......it may not be such a stupid idea...since i presume you are so liberal
Limbaugh is what we WISH Republicans were.
REAL college education does give a REAL advantage. The fact of the matter is, other than big name colleges (read: Ivy League, and high end state schools) opening doors by those names...., most colleges and universities are, exactly what Chaney says: Purveyers of propaganda.
Grove City and Hillsdale are the notable exceptions.
Even evangelical Christian colleges are pervaded with (political) liberalism—along with its corrosive effect on theological conservatism.
My own alma mater, Messiah College in PA for example, is now a liberal evangelical hotbed—whose parents think their kids are “safe” at. Not so.
It smacked of it to me, and I’m usually the LAST person to find out it’s satirical, LOL.
It’s a liberal attempt at satire. Doesn’t work.
No bad news about it! Dick Cheney is a REAL CONSERVATIVE MAN and knows how to lay it down without the prissy liberal gobbility gook speak that makes ya want to gag.
Sorry Cheney is the name on the Republican brand and he couldn’t get elected as ‘dog catcher’. He is bad news for the GOP’s recovery.
