Obama goes first in a few minutes. He's speaking at the rotunda of the National Archives (you think we could get Nicholas Cage on that birth certificate thingey?) on his Gitmo policy and other man-caused calamities.
Vice President Cheney gets the rebuttal time. He's speaking at the American Enterprise Institute around 10:45 a.m. EDT.
I was in Nashville yesterday. What a depressing dump of a city (downtown and immediate environs). Nothing but Obama stickers and lowlifes who looked at me funny because I speak English. Brought home to me that a huge chunk of the country hardly has the brains to string a cohesive, thoughtful sentence together, much less to apply thoughtfulness and logic to voting intelligently for a leader. Most of them probably don’t even know who Dick Cheney IS.

Why isn’t anyone pointing out that the dow totally tanked when B.O. was talking but reversed some of the losses when Cheney spoke.
I'm going to guess that he wrote this himself....and didn't use an "obamma-prompter" to "read" it to his audience either.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama sees his secretary of defense just about every day, but he still flubbed Robert Gates’ name on Thursday.
Gates was in the crowd for Obama’s national security speech. Pointing him out, the president said “William Gates” was on hand. Perhaps Obama was thinking of Bill Gates, the Microsoft billionaire.
When I heard that I thought that I was mistaken. But now you have to wonder just how much attention Dumb0 pays to his Secretary of Defense if he can’t even get his first name right. Or did he just read it off the teleprompter without thinking?
........Hope he was able to keep track of his teleprompter.....
He had it under control. He read “Secretary of Defense William Gates” when of course the correct name is Robert Gates. Bill gates is the microsoft guy

Wow, there’s no doubt Dick Cheney’s on to him. I’d be very afraid if I were Obama, with that look, lol.
I remember wondering if Dick Cheney wasn’t really hurt during the inauguration, but instead chose the wheelchair so he wouldn’t have to stand in respect. Maybe I’ve got my tinfoil on too tight though.
I’m kicking myself for not thinking to record this. I haven’t enjoyed a speech this much in a looooooooong time.
