I think a 25% tax on employer provided health care would be the thing that would make my liberal friends angry, finally. That would hit most of them in the pocketbook (and most of them, while liberal, will not take kindly to THEIR income being slashed). At least that’s what I predict.

Does obama intend to impose htis new tax by Executive Order (like chavez in Venezuela) - or have it rubber stamped by the “socialist dems” that pretend to serve as the people’s elected representatives?

Inquiring minds want to know

Depending on the coverage that could be anywhere from $1,000 to $3,500 in TAX.

Yeah, that will get the economy going.

So, does this encourage employers to drop their employee health insurance?

I saw that...the BOZO had not one detail regarding the plan. These droids are legion amongst this regime. They seem to be video produced x-men and x-women that appear, get shot down, and reappear over and over.....BizzarroBozoWorld...

Hmm a 25% tax to pay for the “free” healthcare while you still pay, no you pay MORE for your healthcare.

There has to come a point where people at least peacefully revolt.

Although I’ve noticed it for a long time, I’m really getting fed up with liberal talking heads who try to “win” a debate by talking over the other party, screaming, changing the subject, etc. I am seriously interested in the liberal perceptions on a variety of subjects, and Fox is pretty good about having someone from the left on most issues. But when all they do is rant and scream, I use the old mute button.

Is there an actual story on FoxNews Channel somewhere, or is the post just your description/analysis of an interview you saw on Fox News?

No problem. Obama said he was not going to raise taxes on anyone making less than $250k. Only the rich will be taxed. Yeah.

This will serve two purposes

(1) This will get more money, we know the dems love that
(2) This will discourage private health care beacase it will be inflated 25%
(3) The Libs will cray about how much health care cost and how the cost are rising

I am a worker bee for a health insurance company so this does not bode well for me..

So only folks earning over $250,000 per year have employer funded healthcare benefits. Who knew?
