The NYC trip where we taxpayers paid for them to fly to NYC, eat at one of the top restaurants and fly back privately..... Obama paid for the Broadway tickets out of his own pockets, big whoop - we paid for everything else!!! Shame on them, they are hypocrites - they think they are so entitled.

Us normal folk we have to fork over the additional $8 to cross the Hudson river, then pay $30-$40 parking, plus gasoline. ***Sarcasm on***I am so impressed Zero actually paid for the tickets and restaurant***Sarcasm off***

$1500 for that thing! Someone needs to show her how to bid on EBAY!

Marie Obama-Antoinette needed to walk around Times Square after the "date" and she could of bought a very nice "clutch" for $10 from one of the numerous street vendors in the area. I bet she could of found an exact copy of that thing.

Somehow, the 60's animated TV series "Clutch Cargo" comes to mind.

Clutch was of muscular build and was accompanied in his cliff-hanging adventures around the world by his ward, Spinner (!) and his grizzled friend, Swampy (!).

Underling, does this dress make my ass look big?

"No, M' Lady, I can tell you with absolute certainty - the dress does not do that."

Her emotions appear as they are and she is not managing her public ego.

Contrast Michelle (5'11") with Eleanor Roosevelt (5'11½"). Looking at photos of Eleanor and our troops, those around her appear comfortable and engaged. Finding only a few ad hoc photos and none with the troops, it appears that M O does not mingle well.

Young Eleanor was easy on the eyes and the photos of her with the guys convey a lot of energy.

Did she pay retail for it? Get a deal? Get it as a gift?

Violate any ethics rules and/or tax laws?

Inquiring minds want to know...

$1500 sounds about right for a new clutch for a bulldozer.

That was a great post. I'm not sure if that's the reason for the belt because it accentuates her lack of boobs. I fully expect her to have breast augmentation any day now. She's really into herself right now. I think the belt has to be that high for 2 reasons. She is very high waisted and that junk in her trunk is high, almost like a shelf in the back so the belt won't go any lower. She wears Spanx like Oprah does. There are few pics of MO where you can see she doesn't have them on and her a** is enormous. Not like J’Lo big. MO’s is wide and has that shelf on the top.
Her legs are so far apart due to her over sized pelvis that it makes it hard for her to walk in heels. She is much more comfortable shuffling along in her Lanvin flats.

Yeah but can’t the White House claim all these fashion items are loaners? They were not bought? Every designer is thrilled to see a first lady wearing their stuff. It boosts sales and prestige

NO, they can’t. I am almost certain that is no longer allowed.

If you can afford a 1500 dollar clutch then more power to you

Uh, it’s not just the clutch. All these little date nights are and Paris vacations are on our dollar. No you don’t flaunt a 1500.00 ugly clutch when you say the things they did. I admit, my Chanels cost twice what her clutch did and I also have several LV, Prada, Balenciaga, etc. I love my handbags but I don’t tell other people how to live their life and say things like this:

“The truth is most Americans don’t want much. Folks don’t want the whole pie. Most Americans feel blessed to thrive a little bit....but that’s out of reach for them. The truth is, in order to get things like universal heathcare and a revamped education system then someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that someone else can have more.

- Michelle Obama April 8, 2008

“And Barack Obama will require you to work.

He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism, that you put down your division, that you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones, that you push yourselves to be better, and that you engage.

Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual - uninvolved, uninformed...”

“We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK,”

“That’s not leadership. That’s not going to happen,”

Barry Barak Obama

Just wondered if you heard the flap re: MO carrying an alligator VBH clutch ($5950), while walking down a path, skirted by greenery in Russia. The VBH folks spotted it, hence she was called out, MO said they were mistaken, it was the $875 patent leather clutch (you would think they’d know).

I thought of this and also of the python (go look PETA before it disappears), VBH clutch she brought to the ballet in NYC before... which was also pricey.

Your mission, should you choose it, is to find the alligator and patent leather clutches at other times.

Courtesy of VBH The $5,950 shiny black manila alligator clutch, a smaller version is shown above, is part of VBH's Spring 2009 collection. Talk about luxury in the woods!

FLOTUS showed off her more expensive taste in fashion by carrying a $5,950 VBH black alligator manila clutch while strolling the wooded landscape outside of Moscow, Russia this week.

She flashed the shiny hand held clutch, while walking with her husband, the Kenyan Commie, during their meeting with Russian President Medvedev and his wife Svetlana. The shiny alligator bag is handmade in Italy by luxury leather goods company VBH, named after V. Bruce Hoeksema, a former colleague of Valentino.

It's part of the Spring 2009 collection and is currently sold at the VBH store in New York (there are currently two in stock) and Neiman Marcus.

While a rep for VBH would not confirm where FLOTUS purchased the bag, she could have picked it up in Chicago. Both Neiman Marcus and Ikram, her go-to boutique in Chicago, sell VBH goods. If you call, just tell them you want the black alligator clutch that FLOTUS carried in Russia. Their lips may be sealed by now, but they weren't until the WH denied it.

Betcha FLOTUS has the cheap 875.00 one on it's way so she can switch them out. Save the photo on your computer, view it in Photoshop, it is clearly the alligator for 5950. and NOT the plain black patent.

It's not the first time the FLOTUS has shown off a taste for pricier items. She wore a pair of $540 sneakers by French design house Lanvin at a D.C. food bank in late April then showed up in Paris with the same sneakers in green. On date night to NYC she wore 750. Jimmy Choo heels and all of those *little flats* you see she and the kiddies wearing, Lanvin's ballet slippers 500-800. a pair and she has dozens.

The J Crew crap fed to the sheople before he was elected was a joke. A joke to make them think FLOTUS was just like them. Now they can sit back, many unemployed and enjoy watching FLOTUS and the POS poser-in-chief elitist wannabes livin' high on the hog in their.... what was it POTUS called them?.... oh that's right... "their new digs". Surprised he didn't just say "da crib".Photobucket Photobucket
