Barry talks in one of his books about his roommate at Occidental and then at Columbia. Refers to him as “Sadik”. By other accounts the guys name is Sohale Siddiqi. A Pakistani national who was a dope dealer at Occidental and at Columbia.

So wierd, 95% of politicians are by nature quite gregarious. Nixon is the only exception, and whether you liked him or not, he was quite strange, and a little scary.

In order to earn Honors at Columbia, you must have a GPA of 3.6 or better or be in the top 25% of your class. Obama graduated without honors.
NOW we are talking about it. Now as the First Imam is leading our nation to disaster. It just goes to show what a creep John McCain is, not to have questioned any of this stuff. Wright. ACORN. Edward Said, Hizbollah and the Muslim Brotherhood connections in Chicago. Columbia. NADA. All these issues were deemed out of bounds by the vile McCain. I was at Columbia in 1982. I don’t remember sharing any classes with George Stephanopoulos, but I was able to establish a link only one level deep through a friend who was in his frat. They called him “Silent George”, and he was always very active in politics. See? It’s not hard to do. I also remember sharing classes with Lis Wiehl and Suzanne Vega, and they remember me.
This isn’t rocket science. If he went there, people should remember him and be able to speak up. I know his name is on an alumni list, but he could have been enrolled and done “outside study” with his leftist mentors in off-campus buildings.
The only high-school friend I have seen mentioned is his pot smoking buddy.
The only contact at Occidental was his drug-dealing roommate.
The only contact at Columbia was his drug using roommate. I believe the drug-using Columbia roommate was related to the drug-dealing Occidental roommate.
Then somehow, after graduating, he just happened to buy a Chicago paper (even though he had no connections to Chicago), and the paper just happened to have a classified ad for a community organizer position, and Obama just happened to see the ad, called and got the job.
I am willing to bet Obama spent his time in New York outside of the Columbia student environment, and more likely in the New York radical leftist activist circle. William Ayers was in New York at the time, and Ayers had a lot of connections to Chicago.
I believe Ayers is the missing link.
My bad. I wrote a few minutes ago that Obama attended Columbia U. on a foreign student scholarship. That was Occidental College, not Columbia.
Obama did not graduate from Columbia University, he graduated from Columbia College, a small division of Columbia that had only about 1800 students, none of whom remember seeing Obama in class. It is also interesting that William Ayres was residing just a block or two from Columbia College at the time. They could have known each other.
Also, didn’t Obama go to Pakistan during the time that he was supposed to be at Columbia College? I think that the College is a division of the university which allows you to write your own course work contract, like Evergreen in WA state. It is possible that Obama got college credit for studying in Pakistan.
Probably never was there, and got an affirmative action degree in the mail.
This all reminds me of a bizarre movie...a reporter digs deep and finally finds the elusive picture of Barack Obama with the dramatic music playing...
Only to find that it’s someone else in the picture.
One might think this would spark even a minimum of curiousity; but noooo; the MSM is not interested in defrocking their modern messiah.
