I don’t believe anyone from Hawaii has come forward and said perhaps even jumping up and down with pride, “I was there when Obama was born” Not another mother, not a staff person etc. Does anyone know if anyone saw the new baby within a day or so of birth?

Not if he wasn't born there.

Especially a mixed race baby born to a woman named Stanley. Even if she went by the name Ann, the hospital medical records department would have noticed that and remarked on it.

I know about that first-hand as I do hospital transcription, and I'll remark to my family and co-workers when I come across any amusing or odd little snippets like that.

"Hey honey, someone named Stanley had a half-white baby today! How crazy is that?
