Gerlach is my Rep and he’s on the list of Repubs considering yes. He’s a solid, standup guy, decent conservative voter.
Connecting the dots here... he has been “reached” by the one electric generating company standing to benefit in a huge way from CAP n’ TAX bill.
This company happens to have a big nuclear generating facility in Gerlach’s district (Limerick Station).
The “utility CEO” on commercials supporting CAPnTAX? None other than John Rowe, the Exelon CEO, owner/operator of fleet of nuclear stations with huge generation capacity and zero carbon footprint (excepting the corporate jets for personal travel).
Even the good reps can be bought to do the long term wrong thing in the DC cesspool. Keep working on them all, calls and e-mail.
