And yes I know Micheal Jackson died yesterday but we still need to get back to business. STOP CONGRESS. I am sure they love that the media has dropped this Cap N Trade coverage like a hot potatoe!

If you took a cue from the airwaves today, they’ll be too busy mourning Jacko to do any voting. :(

If they bring it to a floor vote today, you can be sure they have the votes to make it pass. My two Maine socialist reps (Michaud and Pingree) are lost causes, I’ll have to wait till this hits the Senate before I can have any impact. Then the two semi-lost causes (Snowe and Collins) can possibly be influenced.

I expect our consevative legislator protectors to at least inform the American people the names of the power brokers behind this bill (people and organizations, name all of them), who benefits from cap’n trade (all parties), what this bill will cost each family and how this bill will adversely affect our Country.

This bill is the worst possible power grab ever perpetrated aginst our Country and I’m not hearing that from our conservative legislators, the only people we can expect to count on. I want to see some “Mr Smith goes to Washington” types and I’m not seeing any.

My Congresscritter, Chet Edwards, won’t answer the phone. I wonder why?

So, I left a message:

“Howdy. The LAST time I called your office, I told you that I would be SO upset about your vote for Porkulus that I would run against you. IF you vote for Cap and Trade, the results will SO destroy your political career that I believe that I will have to start picking out window dressings for my new office in Washington. You can leave ME a message at www.timothydelasandro.com “

Cap N Tax is a liberal politician’s orgasm.
Billions in new taxes to buy votes with.
All the voters’ blame goes to the poor bastards who have to collect the money: manufacturers, utilities, energy companies.

The only surprise to me is that it took this long to come up with the idea.

On reflection, I'm hoping this crap sandwich passes with 100% of the Democrats voting for it. The effects of this bill will hit the democrat base the hardest. Minorities and the poor are going to take a huge hit on this and the jobs this destroys are going to be the blue collar jobs that democrats always pander to.

Personally I can afford the tax hike. If I have to pay an additional $1000 a year in electric bills over the next two years and the result is that the democrat party disintegrates by the loss of 90% of the independent vote and 20% of their own, then it will have been worth it.

This legislation is not permanent. It will be repealed as soon as America wakes up to the fact that they have elected a bunch of idiots. It happened in 1977. By 1980, Americans couldn't wait to throw the dems out of office.

History repeats itself. This is 1977 all over again.

To my congress critter

I propose re-naming the American Climate and Energy Act of 2009, the “final nail in the coffin for the USA.” This is nothing more than a TAX increase of massive proportions. President Obama being the MASTER of the universe says that opposition to this bill is from misinformation. I AM NOT MISINFORMED!

Expect a concerted effort to replace ALL congress members that vote to kill the American economy.

CO2 is a PLANT FOOD and not a pollutant!
