Medication that can protect humans against nuclear radiation has been developed by Jewish-American scientists in cooperation with a researcher and investors from Israel. The full story behind the dramatic discovery will be published in Yedioth Ahronoth's weekend edition.

Maybe they’ll use Cynthia McKinney as one of their lab rats as she’s in the klink over there. Put her to work.
And please put her in the placebo group.
How... convenient.
Good now lets get those nuclear power plants fired up.
Something Israel could use since it is being threatened by Iran.
Is she still over there ?
I don’t know.
Here’s hoping.
“Both Feinstein and Gudkov stress that the innovative drug does not provide 100% protection against radioactive damage.”
Erm... I wouldn’t go trying to make myself go glow in the dark JUST yet.
France has had nuclear power for years... maybe the “Stupid American” IS justified.
Short-range, short-term radiation will still be a problem, as will blast and thermal effects.
But still, an improvement.
Cheers!
To be fair, we’ve had nuclear power for decades too but we’ve been limiting ours to pushing around a navy.
I was in radcon engineering training today where the instructor was talking about there being (I think it was) 6400 reactor operating years total in naval nukes without a major accident or environmental release.
Ashkenazi Jews, on average the most intelligent group of people on the Earth.
Potassium Iodide. That will protect the thyroid from radiation poisoning.Potassium iodides value as a radiation protective (thyroid blocking) agent was demonstrated at the time of the Chernobyl nuclear accident when Soviet authorities distributed it in a 30 km zone around the plant.
That sounds about right.
But I’m severely disappointed that the clean and efficient Nuclear-power is relatively un-embraced by the civilian world in America.
And if we built them today, they’d be much safer in design than the current plants that are operating.
Way to go.
Naughty, naughty Giggle
The Suicide Mechanism is one of the bodys main defenses that prevent cancer. The damaged cell commits suicide rather than divide uncontrollably as cancer does.
Certainly it is better to be alive and have the prospect of an increased chance of cancer than die of radiation sickness. But one would have to be very vigilant to catch cancer in the early stages for the rest of ones life.
>And if we built them today, theyd be much safer in design than the current plants that are operating.
Indeed! It’s almost as if people still have a 60s/70s mindset about nukes... and interestingly enough, the two major radiological incidents involving nuclear reactors, Chernobyl and Three Mail island, were due to lax safety-requirements and faulty safety-equipment respectively.
Adrenaline or hyronaline?
