Can you imagine the uproar that would ensue if the Vice President of the United States used the name of Islam's supreme being as a curse word? They rioted all over the Muslim world when a Danish newspaper cartoonist penned a series of satiric pieces on Mohammed, so making "Allah" a curse word would likely incite far more serious violence.
And does anybody doubt that the editorial pages of The New York Times and other liberal newspapers would instantly demand an apology before further damage is done to America's supposed standing in the world. Joining in that chorus would be the National Council of Churches, Democratic congressional leaders and, of course, CAIR.
So where is the uproar over Vice President Joe Biden's incredible use of "Jesus Christ" as a curse word?
This is not merely a gaffe or "insensitivity." Taking in vain the name of the man billions of Christians for two millenia have accepted as the creator and Savior of the entire world is either a consciously chosen insult or the kind of unthinking idiocy that disqualifies this guy from being one heartbeat away from the presidency.
How many more stupid comments does it take before his handlers in the White House realize it's time for this dunce to retire?
Biden's remark came in an interview published today by The Wall Street Journal.
Obama should apologize for listening to someone using it as a curse word first.

He is going to start a "holy war" of epic proportions as maniacal muslim murderers around the world start to whack out!

anyway it was done in public....lord knows how many times Harry Truman or Richard Nixon did the same in front of their cabinet.(I chose these 2 as they were notorious for their expletives. I cant imagine Reagan doing it...or Poppa Bush..but W, I could imagine falling off the wagon and talking trash to get his point across)
the difference being that Biden has foot and mouth disease and continues to say dumb things in public.
“Construction site VP.” That is not to impugn all construction workers (they have rights too), but I sure had to listen as Christ’s Holy Name was used as a curse word for years when I worked in construction . . . and in the U.S. military. And I had to listen to them ask God to “damn” everything.
Now, when I spoke to my co-workers about the Lord Jesus, and the subject of condemnation, damnation, judgment, or Hell would come up, they sure didn’t want to hear me tell them that God does damn some people, and whole cities and nations.
But one day we are on a scafold three stories high, and something was wrong with the scafold itself (not threatening to us, however), I had to listen to the same co-workers, in effect, pray God to damn the very scafold we were standing on.
To mak a point, I quickly got down off the scafold. When they looked down and asked why I had gotton off, I told them that I didn’t want to be three stories in the air with them while they were asking God to damn the scafold. They stared at each other, and later mentioned it to the boss, who told them to watch their mouths.
Without violence (we don’t use violent tactics like . . . ahem . . . some religions), someone should point their finger in Joe Bidens foul face and tell him to watch his filthy, Christ dishonoring mouth.
That’s one man’s view of it, that’s all.
Obama had no qualms calling the Cambridge Police Dept stupid...
Biden has no qualms or hesitancy using Christ's name in vain.
This is where we are.....this is where we're going.
The Cambridge Police Dept didn't like being called stupid...we all saw their reaction.
Christ doesn't like being ridiculed or mocked.....someday we will all see HIS reaction.....and some are seeing it now in eternity.
Nothing will happen. The entire left and their enablers in the media would like nothing better than for all Christians to disappear and be replaced by the fanatical members of the death cult.
Many of those same folks who curse God so easily
...would be crying out for His help if that scafold had been defective to cause them injury!......but they don't see this.

The difference between the muslims and Christians is that our God is real and capable of metting out punishment Himself. Well, to push the point a bit further, why is it acceptable for a public official to us the name of Christ as a curse but not as a title? Imagine the uproar if he’d said, “Jesus Christ be praised.”
No, they don't. All leaders depend upon good, intelligent, and productive citizens. You can't milk slackers.
Holy Allah! I’m from the Northeast and it always seemed to me that Catholics were the most likely to use JC in vain, as such had more punch for them.
The only question I have, is where did he steal the line from?
I think Obama carefully chose Bided for VP knowing the gaffs that would be constant. I also think that he has made Pelosi a promise if she walks in lockstep with all of his positions. Ask Joe to resign in 2010 and appoint Pelosi as VP.
