Why isn’t ANYONE in an elected position talking about the Constitutionality of this thing?
And I will say that this has been the most difficult test for me so far in public life, trying to describe in clear, simple terms how important it is that we reform this system. The case is so clear to me.”
If its so CLEAR, why can’t you EXPLAIN it, fool?
You going to use it YOURSELF Barry? If its not good enough for YOU, servant, then its not good enough for US.
Got some easy fixes for you there Snowe: Tort Reform, throwing out frivolous lawsuits, reducing the need for malpractice insurance and thus higher rates and costs would save money by itself!
Hey, bambi can give me any healthcare plan he wants as long as it’s the same one he actually has.
I'm up to my eyeballs with these elitest hypocritical snobs pushing crap on us they would never stand for themselves...
“If anybody can give me an easy, 30-second solution to this multitrillion-dollar problem, be my guest, said Snowe, a moderate Republican.”
Get the government completely out of health care and eliminate health insurance.
That short enough, you socialist!!!
What part of “No” don’t they understand?
Because explaining that:
'we want to take over another private industry (after my fine job of taking over General Motors) - and continue reshaping America into a marxist utopia (Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, etc were too dumb to get it right) where you proletarians can fight over the scraps while we enlightened leader folk feast on champagne services...'
probably wouldn't go over too well.
Continuing to obfuscate and just repeat the mantra that 'this is really, really good for you' is his preferred route...
Since the Feds don’t “own” the “system” what makes ‘em think they have a right to “reform” it?
If they don’t have the inclination to read the crap they pass in Congress, what makes you think they’re going to take time to read the Constitution? Boy, you’ve gotta’ a nerve! Read their lips — no more reading.
Back during WWII during the seige at the Warsaw Getto, a Nazi officer remarked..”Why won’t they come out and let us exterminate them?”
And when I read this from our gov’t...
And I will say that this has been the most difficult test for me so far in public life, trying to describe in clear, simple terms how important it is that we reform this system. The case is so clear to me.
...I hear almost the same thing the Nazi officer said...”Why won’t the old come out and let us exterminate them?”
HA ! You nailed it ! ! That's exactly why it's clear to him...this is his goal.
That's exactly why it's NOT OK with the rest of us.
Get the government out - check.
Open up the market for health insurance, don’t eliminate it.
One place the gov’t has a role - tort reform. It worked in Texas to reduce costs over 30%.
Looks like a good demographic that will be amenable to secession. Leave the Northeast to fend for themselves. When they realize that they will have no food, energy, or military protection it will be fun to hear them whining.
These neo-feudalists want to bring back the days of nobles & peasants.
I knew health care was in the toilet when I had to sign the first union contract that included it in the early 60s.
Health care isn't a right, it's a privilege to be paid for by the recipient.
You see, he is so intelligent, that he does not need to know the details. He KNOWS what they are just by telling us what they are....you see......you know......because he said so.....and if what he said about the bill is not true, or accurate, then it damned sure better be. Or he won't sign it.......fer sher........He'll stake his birth certificate on it!
Time me.
Insurance rates go up on normal Americans due to the increased cost of operating hospitals primarily due to two reasons: the cost of malpractice insurance for doctors, nurses, and other health care workers and the level of unpaid medical expenses by uninsured patients, especially those who use emergency services as primary care.
Reducing the costs of malpractice insurance by tort reform, in the form of "loser pays" legislation, and by reducing the number of uninsured patients who go to the emergency rooms for routine medical treatment, we can reduce the costs of hospital operations and alleviate the increasing insurance costs of average Americans.
