I’m taking bets on what will be the tipping point for the upcoming civil war. When our food supply hiccups, that might be the #1 bet.
A civil war is on the horizon. Sad but will happen and the food supply just might do it.
The end is near!
It's not (just) the food they're trying to take control of, it's the countryside with all of its military advantage. Whoever controls the country (farmland), and to a lesser extent, the back country (wilderness) controls the nation.
It's not about "food safety", it's about rural cleansing.
