It's time to move to move beyond town hall meetings.
I pose the question that through FR and associated legitimate groups whether we could organize a rally and march to coincide with Congress's return from recess that would start at the WH and end at Capitol Hill? It needs to be respectful and with no reason to give the left which has labeled us as the "mob" any ammunition to mischaracterize us as a bunch of fringe fanatics.
Anybody's thoughts?
Not sure when they come back but a big march is already planned for 9/12.

How do we do it? What are the logistics?
Who do we coordinate with? Tea partiers, etc.

But we need to do at least one more big on the day of the State of the Union Address in January or February - date TBD. We need to shut traffic down in the city to ruin the annual party of the ruling class: http://pushbackuntil.com. If we do not do something on this order, they will think we are just going to go away while they destroy our country. They are wrong. We will continue TEA parties, town hall meetings, write emails, make phone calls, and so forth until we, the people, have our country back.
Maybe I’m behind the curve here but can we get the info about 9/12 to the likes of Rush, Hannity, Glen Beck, Michelle Malkin to name a few, that have the forum to get the word out that 9/12 is the beginning of us taking America back and who they should contact to become engaged?
Friday is September 11th.
912 march is, obviously Saturday, September 12th.
Folks will be arriving in DC all during that same week that Congress reconvenes. I envision a whole bunch of spontaneous marches popping up that week.
The Minneapolis tea party people censored me from showing the sign.
No “march on Washington” will be successful—have any effect whatever—unless it involves 30-40 million Americans, descending on the capitol from all sides and from 40-50 miles away. (As would be necessary with such a throng.) If the political thugs in DC continue to ignore the demands of the American public after a showing like that, the next march would need to be twice as large, with each participant armed. For only a literal revolution would be left.

Great point. I listen to Rush, Hannity and Levin - but haven’t heard any of them promoting this.
Unless someone in free republic has direct access to these guys, the other best way is to call them during the show and talk about it.
I’m not quite THAT pessimistic — but the effort after the 9/12 march can’t be over. It must be sustained — even strengthened. A million people converging on the Mall in DC would have an effect. But doctrinaire politicians have SHORT memories when special interests and other heavyweight pols start twisting their arms. We have to twist harder. We have to keep the pressure on, increasing. Another march — perhaps at the State of the Union, and/or next spring on tax day. Continued pressure at town meetings, congressional hearings, in their offices thru letters and phone calls, thru protests, letters to the editor, etc. Also thru putting up REAL Constitutional/Conservative candidates in party primaries in preparation for the 2010 elections.
It CAN be done if we keep the pressure on. If we don’t, the only way we’ll get our nation back, or what’s left of it, is the way our Founders did it. THat’s a fate I think we’d all want to avoid if possible.

If not you are unable to move beyond what you have not yet done.
