President Obama's approval rating has dropped to 50 percent, according to a poll released Thursday, a new low for the president as he tries to shepherd health care reform legislation through Congress in the next few months.
A new Quinnipiac University poll shows 50 percent of Americans approve of the job Obama is doing compared to 42 percent who don't.
That's the lowest number since Obama took office, and down from a 57 percent approval rating at the beginning of July.

No, he got a bump. Granted, he’s still in negative territory; I just wanna know HOW?
Another 500K lost their jobs this past month. That’s nearly 3 MILLION people to have lost their jobs since he took office! Three Million!
*Scratches Head*
“Gatesgate went away.”
True.
But I’ll bet you a donut that more scandal and crisis are just around the corner! :)

Nah, you’re betting on a sure thing and I value my donuts.
I look for Bambi’s baseline approval index to stay negative, with little spikes even higher here and there as he screws things up (like Gatesgate for example). Which he will. He has a track record now. He’s proven himself incompetent.
50 is still too high....opps bet that gets me on the list..
The 2 rat-like senators from maine will embrace the HELLthcare.
You are a wise Freeper, Obi-Nervous Tick. :)
And now I’m a hungry Freeper! Mmmmmmm! Do-Nuts!
Quinnipiac is almost always more pro-leftist than the other polls so if he hits 50% in their polls, it means he’s even lower than that in the real world.
The panic starts...
Are the people in Maine behind the overhaul of healthcare?
The MSM is over. No one believes them. They're untrustworthy hacks at best and corrupt totalitarians at worst. Not a good spectrum to be in.
There's an awful lot of people who have invested quite a bit with this presidency and they will fight hard.
It's possible that it will get really ugly.
1960's ugly.

I called it the day he got elected. He’d be a failure and destroy race relations.
