‘cuda attack. ;)
Interesting how she makes a statement on Facebook and every news outlet and pundit including president has to mention it... that denotes power to me.
Go Sarah Go!
Tell it like it is......
What really scares me is that, although the current bill may be benign, every government program, without exception, rapidly grows out of control. Though counseling may be optional in 2013, you just know in your heart that the cost savings will not meet targets and the counseling will then become mandatory. Then the age will creep down to 65, 60 and 55. Then when cost targets are still not met, mandatory rationing for the useless eaters will be instituted. It's the way and the history of post WW II Washington DC.
As was so eloquently written only a few years back when a great many people rallied for freedom and liberty, "He has...sent hither swarms of new officers to harass our people and eat out their substance." Truer words cannot be spoken about the US at the beginning of the 21st century.
Palin’s response is both very detailed and devastating. It looks like she is indeed doubling down on this—as she certainly should do.
I’m living vicariously through Sarah.
I keep picturing in my mind that scene at the end of ‘Animal House’ where Mayor Carmine De Pasto is giving his speech with Faber College’s Dean Vernon Wormer on the stage. Sarah (making her own rules) is the Delta fraternity, and soon, is going to be a one-lady wrecking crew for Obama.
Then Obama & Co. spent an ENTIRE WEEK on the defensive over "death panels" and it is still building in the public consciousness. The ENTIRE NATION is talking about "death panels". Can you recall a memorable sentence on health care from either Mitt or Huckabee in the past 6 months?
When will Republicans realize that this woman is the real deal?
Wow! Impressive volley!
Sarah comes across clear as a bell. While a bitter 1% of conservatives will keep denouncing her as a “quitter,” she appears destined for greatness.
Go Bear Lady Go!
It seems palliative care in lieu of curative care is never, or at least rarely, mentioned.
That is the death in Death Panel.
Combine palliative care with rationing and you got euthanasia lite. IMO.
It don't make a lick of sense that ex-Gov. Palin talks about it vis-à-vis Death Panels and virtually everyone ignores it!
.. and regarding pressured to save the government money by dying a little sooner than he or she otherwise would should not be mentioned without Democrat Richard Lamm's famous counsel, seriously ill old people have a duty to die and get out of the way.

Individuals with fishy views will be assigned to the severely disabled category and mercy killed with a minimum of delay.
God Bless Sarah!
She doesn’t sound so over the top anymore, does she?
Death Panels, under whatever guise or terminology, shows just how over the top this bill really is. This is life and death counseling, offered by the government. This is way, way over the line in the minds of about 90% of Americans, no matter how disengaged.
sarah palin wrote this??
What’s really scarey is that if the ‘Bama started rounding up the disabled and trucking them out to a rural gas chamber, as Hitler did long before the death camps were built, would the media report it? I sincerely believe they would not.
On another forum, I said at the time that she had laid out the perfect trap with “death panel” that she knew the left and the media (BIRM) could not help but fall in.
I personally expected mostly snipes from RINOs and Dem hacks...but the White House press secretary? The PRESIDENT??
That told me her trap probably worked even better than maybe even she envisioned. Or perhaps she was waiting for it to filter up to O before snapping the trap shut.
At any rate, she gave it time to percolate...and percolate it did...circulating through our culture and driving the debate on this health care legislation. She’s driving and Obama’s responding. I LOVE IT.
