Well, I’m a Gregorian chant fan myself.

As for those Muslim prayers, there’s something eerie about them. Beautiful but sick.

Would be slightly interesting to see in more detail what the blather is about.

However, satan has a certain degree of power . . . witness the magicians at Moses’ confrontation of Pharoah.

Mostly, it strikes me as utter silly nonsense.

This “scientist” is all wet, because his theory doesn’t hold water.

I wonder if Japan remembers; Aug.14, 1945. They surrendered to the USA ending WW2.

And what does that have to do with this story? I don't even see a Japanese name mentioned on there. It appears that they (mooses) are trying to get back-up claims to encourage others to believe their terrorist/ped religion.

Japanese people in general don't even understand THEIR religion(s) (both of them), let alone something way outside their box.

And I am sure that most of us (on FR) can see propaganda when it is thrown out there.

Beauty doesn't guarantee goodness anymore than ugliness guarantees evil.

I'm surprised these people can call themselves 'scientists' with a straight face.

.

No one here may believe it, but I was involved long ago here in the US with a VERY INTELLIGENT, BLIND physicist. He memorized full books including page numbers. He solved quantuum mechanics problems in his head. I first met him in high school. I worked with him on several projects. He was disturbed that I couldn't work more with him than I did. A project he really wanted me to undertake with him involved a machine he had built which seems indiscernible from that described in the passage from this article:

How can this HADO be measured? By means of a machine referred to as the MRA (Magnetic Resonance Analyzer), “which measures various states of HADO, encodes the unique energy pattern of each substance and checks whether it resonates or not”. It was developed in the United States 12 years ago. Unfortunately, no further details are given.

The same MRA machine is said to be able to “transcribe” information from substances onto water, but again, we are given no details on how it actually works, apart from the following. “The measurement first starts when the MRA puts out a faint resonance magnetic field, which is then transmitted to the subject and substances to be measured. Then the existence of resonance is checked. By amplifying the output of the measuring instrument HADO information can be transcribed.” I have to admit this does not make sense to me, which is a pity, because this is where an explanation could have been provided for results that border on the incredible, especially to people who have been thoroughly schooled to the conventional mechanistic perspective.

He is now dead, due partially to the condition which gave rise to his blindness from birth.

In the unlikely event that anyone here has the slightest idea of who I'm talking about, please FReepMail me.

It’s not the experiment I’m mocking, it’s the idea that it showed Islam to be the correct religion.

re: this story.

A complete fraud.

Crackpot. No academic standing in Japan at all. Largely unheard of. Ludicrous.
