Obama's environmental czar started group targeting Beck

President Obama's "green jobs czar" is co-founder of a black activist organization that has led a campaign prompting major advertisers to withdraw from Glenn Beck's top-rated Fox News Channel program.

In recent weeks, Beck has done several critical segments about Van Jones, who was appointed as the special adviser for green jobs, enterprise and innovation at the White House Council on Environmental Quality.

Now Colors of Change, an activist organization seeking to "strengthen Black America's political voice" has led a furious campaign against Beck culminating in major companies such as Geico and Lawyers.com pulling their spots from the Fox News star's daily show. The group also says it has garnered about 75,000 signatories for an online petition against Beck to be sent to advertisers.

“Colors of Change says the controversy stems from Beck’s recent comment while a guest on another Fox News show that Obama is a “racist” with “a deep-seated hatred for white people.”

I don’t think Obama is racist in the same vein as George Wallace or Louis Farrakhan. I saw the entire town hall meeting in Montana on a local program. He hides his racism well if he is.

Fox News Notes Communist Past of the 'Green Jobs' Czar

The administration’s “Green Jobs” czar, Van Jones, has a “very checkered past” deep-rooted in radical politics, including black nationalism, anarchism, and communism. The broadcast network newscasts have mostly failed to report on Mr. Jones’s past political affiliations which are lock-step with the network’s downplay of coverage regarding President Obama’s associations with the former radical and terrorist William Ayers during the election.

At 6:47 a.m. EDT on the July 10 edition of “Fox and Friends,” Americans for Prosperity Policy Director Phil Kerpen, told interviewer Brian Kilmeade that Jones is “somebody who was involved in radical politics in San Francisco, was self-admittedly “radicalized in jail” and found “Communism and anarchism.” Kerpen compares Van Jones’s Communist past with his new quest for environmentalism and the creation of green jobs:

So...apparently Obama has quietly appointed a Communist to a government position. The position of "Green Jobs Czar" is now held by admitted Communist Van Jones. Yes, this is news to us too. The media has more important things to concentrate on, like Michael Jackson.

Jones had planned to move to Washington, DC, and had already landed a job and an apartment there. But in jail, he said, “I met all these young radical people of color — I mean really radical, communists and anarchists. And it was, like, "This is what I need to be a part of." Although he already had a plane ticket, he decided to stay in San Francisco. “I spent the next ten years of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to be a revolutionary.” In the months that followed, he let go of any lingering thoughts that he might fit in with the status quo. “I was a rowdy nationalist on April 28th, and then the verdicts came down on April 29th,” he said. “By August, I was a communist.”

These little czars are interesting little positions:

Maybe it is time that the American people, Congress, and the Judicial branch stood up and demanded an explanation and accountability for this unconstitutional position creating of "czar" on the part of the Obama administration. We as the American people have no idea what these people even do or how much power they have. They answer ONLY to President Obama.

The definition of a Czar in Merriam Webster’s dictionary is the following: “One having great power and authority.”

They all need to be investigated throughly.

All I meant was that those of us on the side of preserving the Republic must stand united. We won't all agree on everything, but the core value is there; stop the destruction of our country.

The other side, they want us distracted, they relish the infighting over trivial disagreements. We can agree to disagree on many political issues, but to win, we must be UNITED.

We must choose to stop the bickering amongst ourselves over what are, for the moment, less important things.
