I recently saw the first video of the school kids singing the Barack Obama song in class. At first I thought it was the promo for the new “Children_of_the Corn” film or perhaps another remake of “Village of the Damned”, but alas, it is not. It is real. But I think it’s way scarier than either of those two retreads will be. This is the single spookiest thing I’ve seen since “Jeepers Creepers” in the theater. It’s a bigger freak show than that Nancy Pelosi press conference where she lied about the CIA.
But, it tells us a lot. It is another nugget of insight into the twisted logic and belief system that plagues the modern left. It should be analyzed, discussed, and studied like the Zapruder film.
Again, I must reiterate that if the left wants to discredit charges of Socialism, Communism, Nazism and Fascism; they should really think about not emulating Fascist, Communist, Socialist and Nazi regimes. As a child I remember films of kids my age in China, all dressed in creepy uniforms with red ties, pledging allegiance to photos of Chairman Mao.
This was shown to illustrate a BAD thing, not as a trailer of things to come.
Nationalism? Respect for the President? Pride in civic responsibility? I’m all about it. I think reciting the Pledge of Allegiance before the school week is a great tradition. Singing songs that praise a specific, contemporary leader and his policies? Meh, not really a good idea.
The teacher of this class, and a good number of the parents of the students involved will be confused by my outrage. On MSNBC, Norah O’Donnell seemed equally puzzled. They’re just kids. It’s just a song about the president. How is that indoctrination?

In times like this I always refer to the ‘Bush Standard’. In other words if the roles were reversed and this had happened on President Bush’s watch how would the Drive-by Media have reacted?

There was a very small article in my newspaper today regarding this. It’s surprising to me that the newspaper isn’t really covering this story since it takes place in my state. Anyway, the State Education Commissioner, Lucille Davy, issued a statement through a spokesperson basically stating that she wants partisan politics out of the classroom.
Yeah, I know. Their other school song is sung to the tune of the Battle Hymn of the Republic.
Gut instinct tells me this administration and Islam are up to something. Watch Islam. They're preparing a present for their Messiah. They're getting weird.
I expect leftists to try to indoctrinate children. What is the saddest is tv talking heads acting like “what’s the big deal?” If they don’t see the problem ( and if they’re like Norah O’Donnell, apparently they don’t), they should have to take a course in basic dictatorship 101. Maybe they have.
NO! Throw some REAL GAS ON THAT FIRE and sing praises to Ronaldus Magnus, with a second verse for Sarah Palin, and the third verse for Dick Cheney.

Rev Willie James is likely related to Elvira James in some way. Civil rights activist, President of the County NAACP, and has a charitable organization called The Gathering, which had assets of about 39,000 in 2006.
Rev Willie is a veteran who sued in NJ and the State Supreme Court integrated a town because of it. There was a Senate tribute in 2000 to him.
This makes her class ripe for the pickings of Charisse Carney Nunes..author of a song for kids that has lyrics such as
