Forty-eight days before the release and shes already topped Dan Browns latest conspiracy-theory casserole at both top retailers. To put that in perspective, note that the book doesnt even have a cover yet. So much for the Page Six hit piece about demand for her being slack.
No way to tell yet, obviously, whether the monster launch will have legs or whether itll deflate a bit next week after Palinistas are all done ordering their advance copies. But if it goes on to become a mega-seller, its a game-changer insofar as itll establish her unquestionably as the most prominent Republican in America, which leaves Huck and Mitt in an awkward spot before the primaries and presents the media with an interesting choice.
Do they try to spin the sales as unrepresentative of her support among Republicans given that plenty of liberals are bound to buy the book for campaign dish and insight into the Palin trainwreck? Or do they follow lefty conventional wisdom that Palin would be the easiest person to beat in 2012 and talk up her appeal to Republicans to try to nudge her into a presidential run? (Righty conventional wisdom, of course, is that shes the candidate the left most fears, but given their expectation of future Couric-type disasters during a campaign, Im skeptical that thats true.) Only one things certain: If she hasnt already been signed to write a second book, she will be soon. Common Sense Conservatism by Sarah Palin, perchance?

The Saudis call them Raisin Heads.
The truth will be somewhere in between.
How moderate of you!
If it does well in sales, the left will just accuse it’s really being bought by just a few rich Republicans to prop up sales, that “real Americans” would never buy such “literary dribble”.
We know the truth will be that it will be a runaway best seller, despite what ever the left tries to say about it!
Thanks for speaking for all us two months before the book comes out!!!
Conservatives are pretty good at thinking for their selves.
Get to know some of us.
Only if you give the opinion of liberals and conservatives equal weight.
Forty-eight days before the release and she's already topped Dan Brown's latest conspiracy-theory casserole at both top retailers....and I'm sure there are already 5000 negative reviews by leftist scumbags.
The pic pointer doesn't currently work, but probably will soon. :')
Going Rogue:
An American Life
by Sarah Palin
Thanks for posting the link, it made it that much easier to add it to my wishlist. B4SP2012
Yes, Amazon tried to hide it, I wrote them an email and gave them he** about it. Buy it from Barnes and Noble, it is 2 bucks cheaper anyway and they didn’t try to hide it.
Actually, I know a lot of you and a lot are rigidly locked in conservative dogma. Just look at the flame wars on this site. Now conservative dogma is about 100 times better than liberal dogma, but it is dogma nonetheless.
Watch and see, if her books sells millions of copies, and stays #1 for months, and in the top 10 for several more months, her Facebook grows to 5 million, her speakers fees climb to $250,000 a crack, tens of thousands turn out at book signing events, she releases another book that sells millions more copies, the media will run polls showing that she has only 25 percent favorable rating.
What exactly do you mean by "somebody liker her?"
That's my girl ;)
Anyone who says this lady is stupid simply isn't paying attention...
Just a compliment!
That's really strange, because Amazon has generally been much more even and balanced than Barnes & Noble, which had a habit of hiding conservative books. I guess someone at the top must be anxious about the consequences of offending Obama. Interesting, because they didn't seem to worry that much about offending the clintons. Either that, or some new guys have been promoted and changed the policy.
It's also strange because there's big bucks in a book like Sarah's, and you'd think they'd want that.
"A speech was given at the United Nations yesterday that was full of hateful anti-Semitic rhetoric. It was a shameful display before a body whose very charter is premised on the need for co-operation and harmony in pursuit of peaceful co-existence between nations. Such talk was especially abhorrent coming as it did during the Jewish High Holidays. The world community must speak with one voice in declaring anti-Semitism and all forms of intolerance and racism unacceptable. There is no place in the community of peace-loving nations for those who traffic in hate or deny the terrible atrocity of the Nazi Holocaust."
- Sarah Palin
Comment: To whose UN speech was she referring? Unfortunately, she had a number to choose from. Excellent statement, nonetheless.
A few of the crazier libs braid their pits..not a pretty sight!
That is an excellent statement.
Thanks for posting
