The Town Halls convinced Congress that the people don't want ntional health care. so did they decide that maybe they shouldn't go ahead with it? No, the message they got was that they needed to sneak it through via backdoor, shady methods.

If it's a great idea, then they should be able to sell it and enact it openly. Don't try to sneak it through.

Also posted Secret Plan to Pass Obamacare.

I’ll repeat my post from that thread.

This is by no means a “Secret Plan.” It has been known for a long time. And it has to do with constitutional requirements. The Senate Health Care Reform plan has a lot of tax revenue related provisions, as well as appropriations and expenditures. Article 1, Section 7 of the United States Constitution states:

All bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.

By the way, in 2008, H.R.1424, the “Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008” was handled the same way. The House Rejected the original TARP bill. So, the Senate came up with the final product. But Constitutionally, the Senate couldn’t originate a revenue measure, so they picked H.R.1424, the "Paul Wellstone Mental Health and Addiction Equity Act," and they proposed the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act legislation as an amendment in the form of a substitute.

This is sleazy practice, but it has gone on for many, many years. They think they have found a way around the Constitution. They think this makes laws like this constitutionally acceptable. It is always wrong, no matter what the courts say. And Senators who vote in favor of this kind of substitution are violating their oath of office.

Would a den of thieves operate in any other way? Just got through saying how little respect our Congress has and they just don’t care!

Obviously there must be something big buried inside that bill that is so beneficial to them that it just has to go through.

We are sick to death of them....don’t think they’ll ever get it!!!!!

They figure they’ll ram it through in the dead of night and the voters will get over it in time. They are probably right with the power of incumbency.

The Democrat Political Party is comprised of many different, and some radical Leftist interests ie; Communists that without the umbrella of the Democrat Party would be considered strange, and would mostly not draw our attention if they stood alone.

I believe the Democrats in “reaching out” to all of these out of the mainstream, self interest, and radical sorts to increase their viability in numbers has attracted support from less than patriotic National, and International sorts whose self interests are supported in return for monetary support of the quislings whom comprise the Democrat Party.

I see the Democrats as losers without the monetary backing of those who find them as useful tools to achieve specific goals.

It’s National, but mostly International Corporations with no loyalties to anything but the almighty dollar that are the forces behind the demise of the stability, and potentially the freedoms we have all come to know and cherish in their manipulation, their purchase of the Democrats.

The Democrats, and self interested corporate, or individuals of wealth that will pony-up for the Democrat Political Prostitutes are the responsible party(s) behind the curtain cloaking the agenda proscribing our lifestyle.

They are the challenge as it’s their money and their influence with self serving Democrat Political Hacks using the gifts bestowed upon our society by the founding fathers, as well the deceit, the confidence scam upon the unsuspecting array of Leftist interests known as their base that are behind the distress we suffer today.

We must know the enemy as well as we know their weapon. Who are they? Are they GE? Are they Big Pharma? Are they Big Ag?, Who are they?

Mexico is pressing Obama to grant. They are getting very frustrated that Obama is not taking up this issue immediately. He will, of course, do this so that he will not be accused of lying about his statement “this bill will not include access to health care by illegal immigrants”.

I would call this a Coup except for the fact the stupid US electorate gave the keys to the Corvette with a case of beer in the trunk to the proverbial 16 year old when they voted the Senate + Congress + White House all as being owned by Liberals.

I think they are about to now live the pain of voting for them because they NOW have the POWER and as you can clearly see from how they belittled those attending the Tea Parties and Town Halls, they do not care in the least about WHAT the public now wants them to do.

If that crowd wishes to establish a Socialist/Communist Utopia, then that is that.

Too bad, BOHICA (Bend Over Here It Comes America).

Well...it’s not a secret anymore, lol!

I think people will react to this just as they have to the current bills.
