Key Republican Rips Glenn Beck
AOL Newes ^ | October 2, 2009 | AOL N ews

Lightning-rod talker Glenn Beck is taking a hit from an unexpected source. The Fox News host isn't aligned with any political party, Sen. Lindsey Graham said Thursday, Beck is "aligned with cynicism." And, the South Carolina Republican added, America isn't a nation of cynics. Graham, who spoke at The First Draft of History conference sponsored by The Atlantic, also took at shot at "birthers." He said those who question President Obama's citizenship or claim he's a secret Muslim are "crazy" -- and he urged them to "knock this crap off." Graham's remarks came a day after the White House took aim at Beck and Fox, charging they were running a smear campaign against presidential aide Valerie Jarrett and the administration's campaign to bring the 2016 Olympics to Chicago.

Just another democrat mole in the Republican party.

Bump! If beck is lying then expose him as a fraud. Oh, Beck is telling the truth and the truth hurts? To damn bad.

Lindsey was last elected in 2008, so his time does not run out until 2014.
That’s plenty of time to groom a replacement.
Get busy, South Carolinians.

Little Lord Lindsey has a safe few years ahead of him to continue to perform as McCain’s valet. But I’m thinking he’ll find it harder than he thinks to get a third term. He knows he’s unpopular in South Carolina.

“He said those who question President Obama’s citizenship or claim he’s a secret Muslim are “crazy” “

I agree with Lindsay. Huissein is not a closet Muzzie, he’s out in the open now. As for his citizenship, he was born a Kenyan because his dad was a Kenyan. I dont question that. I respect that. So we have no problem Lindsey.

Thanks for the info but Harkin is one of my senators so there's not much reason to contact him and I don't have to worry about Grassley.

My congressman is Steve King--one of the best in congress.

Bend over Lindsey. The guard dropped a bar of soap.

Someone got the headline wrong. Mr Graham is not a key Republican. He’s a RINO.

Same thing.

Lipsey daisy is a wimp and every conservative knows it...with RINO’s like him there would be no REP party to speak of..
Hope the people of SC wise up and get rid of this sad sack...

Since when has Graham been a “Key Republican”. Maybe a “Key Democrat” but certainly not a “Key Republican”.

And, the South Carolina Republican added, America isn't a nation of cynics.

Oh I believe 0 went to Copenhagen to meet with Gen. McChrystal and the Olympic thing was a ruse. Sure. Really. I'm not a cynic.

So Ms. Lindsay Graham complained; but who is the key Republican mentioned in the headline?

The term cynicism serves a particular function. It is used in this sort of political context exclusively by leftists who are attempting to turn people from conservatism.

It tells a lot about Graham, if anyone didn’t already know.

That won’t happen for some time as he was just reelected by South Carolina voters. He must be doing something right by them.

Graham was just reelected to the Senate, and as far as I know SC has now means of recalling a Senator.
