115 pregnant. I wonder how many more already have a kid? That would be the true total!

I have said that for years - welfare can only be spent on staples. make it an over sized card with a stigma attached. I tell everyone I see with a welfare debit card in the local store - your welcome - they get all mad - but its my money!!!

Robeson would have been thrilled with this awful stat. He was an America-hating Communist who went to Moscow to accept an award from Joseph Stalin himself! To see a school named after him just shows how far we have declined as a nation.

They are young and stupid. That’s what FATHERS are for.

But the State, and the Left, has determined that fathers are unnecessary and detrimental.

Yes, fathers ARE detrimental, to the left’s tyrannical socialistic plans.

Best solution would be to cut off all social services. No food, fuel, or housing assistance. If you work, or are married to a worker, you can survive. Otherwise, your chances are not good. We would have mothers and children starving to death in alleys, no doubt about it.

I believe this is the solution, but not all at once (the starving thing wouldn't go over well). Phase it in over a 5-10 year period, and provide training resources for those who need "skillz." After that, you're on your own!

***Why are 1 in 8 girls at this school pregnant? ***

So? A few years ago the entire graduating class of girls at the all white school in Lincoln, Arkansas came down with a bad case of the “big Belly”, and all the grad boys had smiles on their faces!

The moral decline of our society and the approval of fornication is a big part of the problem, but a breakdown of rationality is also a big component.

As a society, we have made an irrational disconnect between sex and the conception of children. So many people are doing the one thing that causes pregnancy, yet are honestly shocked when a pregnancy results.

It is like buying a ticket for and boarding a bus to Chicago, and then being “shocked” and considering it an “accident” when you arrive at the bus station in Chicago.

We need to drill it into kids’ heads that “Sex makes babies”, and that it is an “accident” if you are having sex and DON’T get pregnant.

And -— contraception aside -—condoms fail 70% of the time to stop viruses such as (to name just one) HPV, which causes cervical cancer.

That’s a parachute that works only 30% pf the time. Not what I’d call protection.

Funny the article doesn’t talk about infected girls doomed to a life of disease...

And not to mention the boys. No, let’s not mention them at all.

That way, nobody would starve (in fact they would eat much healthier), but practically nobody would want to stay on welfare.

I agree. Welfare is too comfortable. Why would they ever want to get a job?
I think only the bare necessities - Delivered food, a small roof over their heads, and a thrift store coupon for clothes ( There's no reason to buy new. They aren't going to work anyway.)

This way, they have only what they NEED ( Other families are being forced to do without because of their ignorance). If they WANT more , they'll just have to get their own jobs.

provide training resources for those who need "skillz."

Back in the day, we called those "schools."

That was Bush's Welfare to Work Program. Oboma canceled it. Too many people were starting to live on their own.
No social failures = no democrat voters. Without failure, there's no need for democrat politicians.

This is only 12.5%. If I remember right a few years ago Williams High School had 60 or 70%. They had the state up there doing everything short of stitching them up. Still a problem.

Make the charity totally private and voluntary.

The charity administrators can put whatever restrictions and conditions on the charity that they want (job training, mandatory birth control, require marriage to the “father”, addiction counseling, etc),

and those who contribute to various charities can determine whether their money is being spent wisely and vote with their dollars accordingly.

All those young ladies are moms or moms-to-be at Paul Robeson High School.

Define "lady".

Government schools are part of the problem, not the solution. Vouchers would be a good start, but for some reason the liberals keep preventing them from being used.

Condoms fail 1 in 20 times under perfect conditions.

You should throw them out after 15 times and get a new one....

You’ll notice the commonality of the “liberal” mindset is that they know better and the masses can’t make decisions for themselves.

This is at the heart of the “no vouchers” policy - it lets the parents make the decisions instead of the elites.

Another thing I’ve seen from the left about “no vouchers” is that they are just DISGUSTED by the idea that 1 dime of “government money” would go to a Christian school.

That is another good idea. Private charities can make judgements on who is really in need and who is gaming the system. On the other hand, government generally must follow eligibility standards that often benefit the lazy and the con artists, while excluding more deserving individuals.
