Looking for evidence of Obama's past, Fox News contacted 400 Columbia University students from the period when Obama claims to have been there, but none remembered him.
Wayne Allyn Root was, like Obama, a political science major at Columbia who also graduated in 1983. In 2008, Root says of Obama, "I don't know a single person at Columbia that knew him, and they all know me.
I don't have a classmate who ever knew Barack Obama at Columbia. Ever! Nobody recalls him. I'm not exaggerating, I'm not kidding." Root adds that he was also, like Obama, "Class of '83 political science, pre-law" and says, "You don't get more exact or closer than that. Never met him in my life, don't know anyone who ever met him.
At the class reunion, our 20th reunion five years ago, who was asked to be the speaker of the class? Me.
No one ever heard of Barack! And five years ago, nobody even knew who he was. The guy who writes the class notes, who's kind of the, as we say in New York, the macha who knows everybody, has yet to find a person, a human who ever met him. Is that not strange?

NOTE: Root graduated as Valedictorian from his high school, Thornton-Donovan School, then graduated from Columbia University in 1983 as a Political Science major (in the same class as President Barack Obama WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN IN)
Must have been the US...only way these records could have gone down a black hole like they have..remember that his mother worked at the Ford Foundation with Geithner’s father.

Excellent observations! It is possible he did the minimium to graduate and spent the rest of the time with the likes of Bill Ayres and/or radical Isamists.
But Obama was a social animal. It's hard to figure he could get anywhere without the help of someone else. He knew how to work the system.
Did he live by himself when he attended Colombia? Inquiring minds want to know.

Root: That's the era. I mean, when I went to Columbia, the black kids were all at like tables going "Black Power!" We used to walk by and go, "What the hell are they talking about." And they didn't associate with us and we didn't associate with them. So if you track down a couple of black students, they'll probably know him. But nobody white's ever heard of this guy. It's quite amazing. Nobody remembers him. They don't remember him sitting in class.

Doesn’t pass the smell test. There couldn’t have been more than a handful blacks at Columbia at that time. Nobody knows him.
Is Columbia a private school or do they operate on our $$?? Lets see the transcripts.

Don't you find it just a little curious that Obummer went from total obscurity and completely under the radar at Columbia to top of the heap at #1 rated Harvard Law School where he served as President of the Harvard Law Review?
Columbia verifed that he graduated in '83 (no honors).
It's true that there's very little info out there, but it's not a total blank, for instance:
Any investigative reporter could just find out the MARXISTS and COMMUNISTS that were at Columbia and ask them if they remember him. In his OWN owrds he said he hung with those people. Check out the LEFTISTS CLUBS.
My guess is that he nevrer actually went to “Columbia University,” but rather, he went to “Columbia College.” Columbia Colege is technically part of Columbia University, but is geared to students who do not fit the traditional mold. Many of them are older or come from impoverished or challenged backgrounds, and may not meet the standards that one would normally associate with the Ivy League.
So are you intimating that Michelle is a MAN...

Interesting, not conclusive. I doubt anybody would remember me at Furman - I didn’t socialize there. Hell, I don’t remember anybody from Furman, except a few teachers.
Ah! You’re right! It was during his time @ Columbia that Obama wrote that screed about the Pershing missile deployment.
