Just when you thought the White House couldn't possibly do anything to make their bizarre feud with the Fox News Channel an even larger spectacle - the administration manages to take it to another level.
Over the past two weeks, three White House officials have publicly criticized the Fox News Channel by denigrating its status as a news outlet - White House Communications Director Anita Dunn, Senior Advisor David Axelrod and Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. And even the president himself commented on his opinion of Fox News. However, that pales in comparison to the latest petty stunt.
On the Oct. 22 broadcast of Fox News Channel's "Special Report," host Bret Baier revealed a White House pool announcement was offering Kenneth Feinberg, the "Special Master for Compensation," better known as the White House "pay czar" for interviews - all except for one network - Fox News.

Trying to get Fox kicked out of the WH press pool, which theyve been members of since 1997 goes far beyond anything even Nixon attempted. Obamas attempt was a for-real Fascist-style operation. Single one entity from the herd and see if the rest let you destroy it. If so, repeat process until all are destroyed.
Fortunately, it doesnt look like kindergarten-level Fascism yet works in America. I wonder if Obama will give up kiddy Fascism, or if hell try to take it to the next level.
He may have just singled himself out from the herd.
The media has no responsibility to the constitution or the truth. They used to be a money-making venture that hid themselves behind phrases in the constitution in order to gain legitimacy. An honest and free press is important to our republic, but whether we have an honest and free press is up to us.
FOX’s ratings ought to go through the roof now. And the dishonest media will continue its downward trend unless they stand up for truth and justice rather than communism which cannot exist in a free society.
GREAT cartoon in #21.
They’re afraid their kingdom will collapse when Fox exposes their dirt.
True!
It’s all entertaining, not to mention disturbing but it’s sickening to read of this puerile pettiness from the White House at a time when the economy is struggling and major decisions on important issues to the nation are being delayed and waffled over.
Our enemies and those who would seek to take advantage of us must be laughing their a$$es off.
Thanks for the ping!
Then there is Press Secretary Robert Gibbs saying Fox is not a news organization, it is just a station for ‘opinions’.
Well before they spread THIS lie they had better go back and study what a news organization does and they just might be surprised to learn that Fox News fits the very definition..
But that is not their real game..it is a diversionary tactic designed to totally silence their critics..This megalomaniacal administration cannot tolerate dissent one iota lest the Kings ‘image’ be tarnished.....We know the image- a narrow minded tyrranical dictator comes to mind and we have plenty of examples in recent history as well as daily on our tv screens....Enough already !
Nice find. I was going to suggest that the WH make the Fox correspondents drink out of separate water fountains and enter through the back door.
James Rosen, Foxnews, reported it.
Have several seemingly “reliable sources” type people declare FOX NEWS not a news outlet and then deny them access to the administration lackeys, and also kick them out of the White House Press Corps. (Marginalize)
Then they can only have news organizations that are wings of the DNC able to ask questions, interview, and attend press briefings at the WH.
They are not bold enough to out-front close down FOX and arrest those in charge etc like real dictatorships.
