$1 Makes A Huge Difference

Important point regarding the FReepathon.

$1 per FReeper and lurker would pay the bills for a full year.

$10 from approximately 10% of FReepers would also pay the bills.

Please don't think that if you can't donate more that you shouldn't bother donating at all. Every little bit helps.

It is easy to fall into the trap of thinking that only donations of $50 or $100 have any impact on keeping FreeRepublic up and running. This isn't true. If all of us give just a few dollars, we'll pay the bills.

Please seriously considering donating to the FReepathon. We need your support now more than ever.

Thanks, Ghost of Philip Marlowe

Send a little love today to your favorite news source!

Free Republic, LLC
PO Box 9771
Fresno, CA 93794

Or, spread your love throughout the year with an automatic, monthly donation. It's easy and few bucks a month is almost painless (and is dearly appreciated.)

And don’t forget the PayPal option, which makes donating very simple.

Non-donors, you know who you are. Its not fair to those of us who consistently donate. We are all going through tough times, but most can find a few dollars to help out.

Well, I was going to just let Bill O’Reilly get the job done, but he’s been quiet lately. To explain—I promised myself that every time Bill O’Blather tried to paint JR or FR as rightwing nutjobs, I’d donate more. Sort of like the old drinking game where every time you’d hear a word, you’d down another shot—but without the scotch, plus the results were always a lot better than a hangover.

So, I finally signed up for a buck a day. It’s painless. It’s about the price of a daily newspaper these days. It’s worth the tiny amount of money, and the tiny amount of effort to do it. And it’s still lots better than a hangover, and perhaps more important, it’s better than NOT having a place where we can find out what’s REALLY going on.

Thanks for pointing out more facts about how even small donations help our goal to keep Free Republic up and running!

Many Freepers across the US got a mailing from me asking those who have NEVER donated to help in any way they can.

I received so many wonderful replies from Freepers who already donate and lots from Freepers who told me they have not donated but are going to make a donation.

These are hard times for many of us and I hope those who can not afford to make a donation realize I certainly understand because taking care of ourselves and our family comes FIRST!

The main point I wanted to make in my note to Freepers was that if they COULD afford to make a donation that even a SMALL donation of $5 or $10 really helps!

Thanks for helping in any way that you can. God Bless.

Lots and lots of small donations amount to plenty to keep FR up and running....kinda like “out of many...one”

You betcha! Hope Freepers everywhere know that every little bit helps!

I don't want to even think about how I would feel if FR was not here for me to get the truth and to learn so much! Can't stand the though of being without FR!

This is why I love being a monthly donor. By giving on a monthly basis, I can actually give more.

Besides, it’s automatic and I don’t have to think about it - except it takes place about the 10th of each month.
