President Obama he has paid nearly $1.7 million to his top eligibility lawyer since the election.

Obama for America, Obama's 2008 political campaign, merged with the Democratic National Committee in January and is now known as Organizing for America. The grassroots army that some refer to as "Obama 2.0" is still collecting financial contributions.

Federal Election Commission records for "Obama for America" show that the lobby organization has paid international law firm Perkins Coie exactly $1,666,397.01 since the 2008 election.

The most recent sum, $314,018.06, was listed in Obama for America's October Quarterly report filed with the FEC.

$1.7 million is a pretty big number. But I really don’t see a way that it can be determined that this money is going strictly for Obama’s defense of the BC court challenges. Some of it is for sure. All of it - I doubt. Most of it - who knows? Anyone that knows the answer should post the rationale. It would nice to know that he has really spent that kind of money to hide his birth information.

to think all he has to do is show the B/C/ and it would cost just a few dollars and yet he fights this

why??????

see that journo’s, the word why, something you should be asking and looking into to.
O and BTW his family say they saw him born over there too, maybe you could fly over there and do some investigative reporting(what you get paid for).

ALL WE ASK IS WHY DOES HE NOT SHOW IT AND WHY KEEP FIGHTING IT

The big point is that obama has so far spent $1,700,000 with law firms to keep all his past history hidden. The birth certificate is just one facet of his past, but they are just as determined to hide all his history. Even he knows that there is very detrimental information out there. And the birthers are tagged as kooks?

“why??????”

Because Hussein is phony as a 3-dollar-bill and he’s been running a scam on the “system” since college.

No worries, sooner or later before the 11/2012 election,
this clown is gonna have to cough up a BC and then the Shiite is gonna hit the proverbial fan. And when it is revealed to the entire world what a fraud this clown is;
it may just be the “death knell” for the Democrats as a national political party in America. They won’t be able to get a dog-catcher elected to a national office!

Wonder how much he got from the Obama Enablers....the ones who claim to be “conservative” yet smite those who want to find out whether he can legally be President or not.

I wonder if those Enabling Obama (Coulter, Beck, Medved, O’Reilly, Hewitt) are still smiting the Birthers after seeing Obama has now spent near 2 million to defend himself?

If you’re talking to anyone that tags the birthers as kooks,

just ask - why has he spent 1.7 million to cover it up? The principle? Practice your derisive smirk.

I wonder how much the DOJ lawyers are paid that doesn’t even show up on this report?

I've informed those so-called “conservative” various and sundry talking-heads and authors that I won't be purchasing any more of their books...
for the record, I “wrote off” Hewitt six years ago when he “stabbed” Tom McClintock in the back by switching his support from McClintock to RINOld in the 2003 CA recall election. As far as O’Reilly goes...he's just another Viet Nam war draft-dodger and Obama-ass-kisser. Orly Taitz has more guts than all of ‘em combined!!!

Did his campaign really merge with the DNC? Is that common practice?

I just wanna know WHY DOJ lawyers are even involved?

Why should I PAY for Hussein’s defense?

Takes a lot of money to keep that closet door closed.

Doesn’t matter if $1 or $1 billion have been spent in “defense” against eligibility questions, the figure should be ZERO. If 0bama is eligible, under the US Constitution and the laws at the time, then it should be a matter that requires no legal representation at all to clarify. Simply release the original birth certificate (his opponent did, as have other candidates over the years). This isn’t about privacy, it is about hiding something. Apparently is it “something” explosive, as who would spend any significant money to hide that his mother had an STD when he was born?

Of course, this doesn’t include pro bono work that has been done on his behalf, or the fact that government lawyers are now defending his cover-up of his documentation with taxpayer, ie YOUR, money.

That is definitly the point. I figure that this is either arrognace like “you little people aren’t worthy to know who I am”, or this information would really screw up ozero’s carreer path. This whole campaign and his admin has and is a fraud.
