After Attack GRAPHIC IMAGE!
NEW HAVEN, Conn. A Connecticut woman who was attacked by a 200-pound chimpanzee says she repeatedly warned the animal's owner that the primate was dangerous and could hurt someone. In a telephone interview Wednesday with The Associated Press, Charla Nash said she saw the chimpanzee throw large objects around his cage, flash his teeth and pound the bars so violently his hands would bleed and the cage had to be rewelded.
Nash, who appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" Wednesday, said she told the owner, Sandra Herold, eight or 10 times he was dangerous.

Hopefully she can have a total face transplant at some point in time. Poor lady. The chimp chewed her hands off too.

She is a brave woman to reveal her face and to face her future with with such optimism considering her circumstances. It really makes one think when we are dissatisfied with some little thing about the way we look especially something we have the power to change easily like extra pounds or bad hair. There but for the grace of God.....

Why would anyone own a dangerous frigging monkey? Buy a nice dog like normal people do. Or maybe a cat.

A wide gash for a mouth, a noseless, featureless bump for a face, and open eye sockets.
The creature ravaged away her face, as well as her hands.

Oprah is a shameless whore who would do anything to boost her faltering ratings.
Americans will NEVER forget that the freak in the Oval Office is her man.

"A Connecticut woman who was attacked by a 200-pound chimpanzee says she repeatedly warned the animal's owner that the primate was dangerous and could hurt someone." I'm no fan of attorneys or bullcrap lawsuits but the owner or owners of the chimp need to pay a high price.

It's a dangerous world. And some people have no real instinct for danger. They hope and trust and assume and ... all too often get hurt.
I feel great sympathy for this woman, but she unwittingly placed herself in a very dangerous situation and was unprepared or unable to protect herself at a critical moment. This should be a lesson to us all.

Sarah Palin is going to be on her show on 11/16. The only time I watch her is if she has a guest that I’m interested in.

“Nash said she wants to warn people about potential dangers posed by exotic animals.”
My heart goes out to this woman for her horrific injuries.
An adult Chimp is NOT a cute little animal. Its is very intelligent, very strong and very dangerous. It definitely belongs in the wild and not in a cage in a residential area.
An adult male chimp can pick up an industrial freezer and throw it across a room. Even a gorilla or Orangutan is less lethal than this creature.
This is true of many “wild” animals. But putting all “exotic” pets in that category is unfair. Many of them make harmless, interesting and rewarding pets.
KNOWING how dangerous this creature was, I wonder WHY they agreed to help that nut try and re-cage it.
The REAL criminal in this case is the nut who kept it.
