BEIJING (Reuters) - President Barack Obama gave his sternest warning yet about the need to contain rising U.S. deficits, saying on Wednesday that if government debt were to pile up too much, it could lead to a double-dip recession.
With the U.S. unemployment rate at 10.2 percent, Obama told Fox News his administration faces a delicate balance of trying to boost the economy and spur job creation while putting the economy on a path toward long-term deficit reduction.

Totally concur. The MSM can spin all it wants, but the reality of people’s lives will dominate and transcend any happy talk. The MSM also sees its own industry collapsing with more layoffs by the day.

This comment is totally outrageous after all the spending that has occurred under the dems watch starting in 2006. Anyone watch Beck last nite—really goes into depth on the soaring debt!!

Regardless of motivation, 0 is going to find out what “push back” means, in 2010 and 2012 at a minimum. If he’d been more subtle and moved slower it might have worked, but he’s “awakened a sleeping giant and filled him with a terrible resolve”.
