The Rochester stop is the only scheduled destination in New York state on her Going Rogue book signing tour. She is scheduled to be in Henrietta from 6 to 9 p.m. Fans started lining up since around 7 p.m. Friday, and the line for wristbands to gain entry to the book signing was stretching all the way down the shopping plaza Saturday morning. 1,000 wristbands were to be given out. Only people who purchased their book at Borders could get a wristband, |

No stops in Los Angeles. :(
I’d take a day off.
Story Continued (Second story down at that site)
Maybe next year!
Maybe next year!
Love how you said it twice. Haha!
Love how you said it twice. Haha!
I checked amazons’ site and first they told me the zip code I used didn’t match their State’’ info, I finally got it to take the zip code and state I gave and it said they had an error occur and try again? Whole deal smells fishy to me.
Man she sure is jumping around!
How ironic that you-leapfrog-posted this information LOL

LOL @ the leapfrog posting!
She did say something about traveling by bus but like the stop in Phoenix followed by one in Roswell, NM unless she’s in a plane, it won’t happen in the same day. Phoenix is 7 hours to Albuquerque where I live and it’s 3 more to Roswell.
So it will be interesting to see. I’m going to go to Roswell with hubby although he thinks it’s nuts and thinks he’s going to get out of it. He does like Palin but said he won’t stand in line for anyone. HAH!
It wasn’t so bad. No parking available in the lot, so parked in the nearby Wal-Mart and schleped over. About one hour’s drive and 10 minute’s walk.
Rochester is a logical choice because two of the biggest cities, Buffalo and Syracuse are only 1 hour away. That allows her to draw from all three.
PS Henrietta is the closest suburb to the Thruway, to accomodate travelers. (My first apartment was like three miles from this store...I shopped it many times.)
“And others saying that in Columbus, Ohio that she didn’t sign all the books.
Actually, she did.
She went outside after finishing all the ones with wristbands, and signed EVERY book that people had outside.”
WHAT?!?! Are you serious? I returned my book and left because they cut the line off and said I couldn’t get my book autographed, although I could get an autographed bookplate since I had purchased the book there. I didn’t want a bookplate - I wanted to say hi to Sarah!
As much as I like her...... camping out on the sidewalk doesn’t sound like something I would do. LOL!
Utterly unselfish and thoughtful of her. It is indeed a pleasure to be witnessing the evolution of our first female President.
Syncro, please join me in urging JimRob to consider going rogue and declare that FreeRepublic is endorsing a Palin candidacy for the 2012 GOP Presidential nomination.
See post 16
Yeah, I know...there’s a lot of liberal skullduggery going on, with more to come no doubt.

At 8:30 the end of the wristbanded people had made it to Sarah. They told us she was going to need a 5 minute "personal break" and then would decide how many more could come in or if she was done. The manager said she was either gonna sign more, or she was going to come out and apologize for not being able to get to everyone and thank us for coming.Sorry you missed out!
THEN, all of a sudden, she walked out through the doors surrounded by security. The people in line went crazy, yelling her name and cheering. She waved for a second and then said, "Oh, what the heck come on in". The people rushed toward her and were stopped and put back in line by the Borders staff.
She stayed until about 9:20 PM and finished the 200-300 people left in the line.
Here's a little more from Henrietta:
Protesters arrive as Palin's appearance nears
Former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate Sarah
Palin has arrived for her book-signing at the Henrietta Borders on Hylan Drive.
Local organizer Bill Nojay said Palin arrived at the bookstore shortly after 5:30 p.m.
Palin is signing copies of her book, Going Rogue: An American Life, in the back of the store near the music and DVD section, with at least five armed sheriff's deputies close by.
Shortly after 6 p.m., Carly Cazer, a sophomore at Canandaigua Academy, and her father, Mark, both walked out of the store with autographed copies of Palin's book.
The Cazers had been No. 67 in line, they said, and began their long wait outside Borders at 8:15 p.m. Friday. The teen said the wait was "absolutely worth it."
"I believe in her so much more now," Carly said. "It's sort of unreal that she's here.
"It's amazing to see a woman with that kind of charisma and poise," she added. "She told me I have awesome glasses, which was awesome."
Mark Cazer said Palin was "extremely personable."
"I just wished her good luck," he said. "I've followed her since she was nominated. It's great to see a woman who has such great conservative values."
*snip*
About 5 p.m. Palin tweeted on Twitter: In Rochester NY now; Piper & my Dad join us here, so more FUN arrives!Folks @ these events quote those 2 from the book more than me! Luv it!
Her father, Chuck Heath, did indeed join his daughter in Rochester. He said he and Palin's mom, Sally, traveled all day from Anchorage. Two of Palin's children, Piper and Trig, are also in Rochester.
LOL, sorry yer on your own there.
It’s much too early IMO to endorse anyone for 2012.
I’m concentrating on the midterms until November 2010.
Uh oh, only time till the FReepers who blasted her yesterday for not signing her books beyond the 9:00 p.m. deadline show up here......
Not clicking on bash Sarah links.
Please don’t post them here, start a thread if you want to diss Palin.
