My sarcasm aside. IMO, there is no difference between JFK and LBJ, RFK and TFK. Liberalism is progressive by its nature.

IMO, there is no difference between JFK and LBJ, But LBJ was a "better" politician. JFK likely would not have been able to get nearly so much of the Great Society crapola passed. JFK also had first hand military experience, both in intelligence and operationally where the meat meets the metal. (LBJ was "theoretically" in the Navy, but it was very theoretical indeed, since he was already a Congress Critter at that time) It would have influenced the way Vietnam was fought, and likely would have gotten "Strange" McNamara "resigned" somewhat sooner.
