Overall, the Register poll seems to be nothing but good news for Mike Huckabee. But that is not the case, because of Palin's numbers....

Huckabee? really? seriously?? couldn’t you find another person with the excitement of paint drying?
yup... the libs are flailing around to find a candidate they can prop up to be mccain 2012.
Sarah has them in a full blown panic
Huckabee= a manifestation of how much GOP masculinity has declined since the candidates in 1980 (Reagan, Connally, Bush, Crane, Dole). We REALLY have a dearth of leadership of almost biblical proportions now. I’m beginning to thing this is not some type of divine retribution when you look at the ‘Limp Richards’ the GOP has to run agains Obama.
Given our current Presidential situation, I would welcome George W. Bush back with open arms. He made mistakes. They all make mistakes. Absent Christ-Himself running for President, political and moral perfection is an absolute impossiblity.
Given the option, I’d rather vote for a God-fearing Christian than not. I’d take Palin (as well as quite a few others) over Huck in a primary — but, if Huck were nominated, he’d have my support.

I doubt Huckabee runs. He enjoys making money for once in his life.
Very possible. Wouldn’t surprise me a bit.

This is exactly what many normally conservative Christans said in justifying their vote for Jimmy Carter in 1976.
Remember Obama released 2 books, one a autobiography and another laying out his policy positions.. expect Palin to do the same.
"Sincerity is everything. If you can fake that, youve got it made.
The Huckster is not a good man. He’s a snakeoil salesman trying to pass himself off as a “good man”.
I believe “Thou shalt not bear false witness” is one of the Ten Commandments. He broke it dozens of times with his backhanded ambushes of Fred Thompson and other candidates.
He always had some outside group do the dirty work for him, but he was behind it all.
Actually, the campaigning has ALREADY begun.
Pawlenty, Pataki, & Huckabee have already visited in the past month.
Palin comes to Sioux City as part of her book tour soon.
In Iowa, the campaigning only stops for about one year after the election.
Don’t blame Iowa Republicans for Carter. They don’t vote in the Dim caucuses.
We don’t need someone like Huckabee who will say nice things about Obama. The best candidate is staring the nation straight in the face.
Palin 2012.
Have to disagree. He’s running. I would pretty much guarantee it.
New Hampshire operates about the same way I think. Some of the candidates almost live up there for a year or more as those folks expect to meet the candidate one on one at one of their local establishments or events. So you have to spend a lot of time just roaming about their state.
Who are these morons who LIKE Huckabee???!!!
Technically correct, but anyone can register at the caucus.
Sorry, you can keep Huck. I don't want him and I don't characterize him as "good" simply because he is religious, some of the biggest a**hats I have ever known were "godly",or pretended to be.
