Apparently there are still some posters on FR who are fast asleep. Wake up! Dammit! We are in the middle of a conservative rebellion! While you were sleeping we, along with millions of other freedom loving grassroots Americans have participated in hundreds of tea parties all across this great land and fully intend to keep it up until all of America is awake. We are fed up and mad as hell! We grassroots Americans are delivering a message to the ruling class: NO MORE!!

No more big government! No more high taxes! No more government bailouts! No more government takeovers! No government healthcare! No more corruption! No more global baloneyism!!

We're sick and tired of liberals and RINOs running roughshod over our God given Liberty!

We want our country back! We want our freedom back! We want it all back!!

No more socialism!!

Cut the taxes! Cut the spending! Cut the government!

Restore the constitutional limits on government! Restore our freedom!!

And not only no, but HELL NO to liberals and RINOS!!

Free Republic will not support RINOS!! Rudy McRomney, et al, can go straight to hell!!

So then is it time for an idealogy litmus matrix on Free Republic? Not so we can impose any particular idealogy, but so it is simply out in the open.

Yeah, and there is already a Republican litmus test out in the open. Actually a relatively decent litmus test is written every four years at the RNC national convention. Any Republican who can't support Republican-written, Republican-approved Republican platform is clearly a RINO.

I don't know what definition of RINO Jim Robinson is thinking of, but this one is a good start. I do know that this is a Conservative site, not Republican, and so the Republican Platform is merely a start. But given how many leaders it would out as RINO/CINOs, it's a real good start.

If you can't see that every time a RINO is nominated/chosen, the GOP and conservatism moves further to the left, then I can't help you, son.

Donald Rumsfeld got into a lot of trouble for saying that you have to go to war with the army you have. But his statement is still true.

If you will *only* vote for Saint Conservative we will never elect an actual human being in an actual election. The merits of each individual candidate in each individual election must be evaluated on a case-by-case basis BASED ON THE GOALS OF THE CONSERVATIVE MOVEMENT and not in a broad, generalized and vague definition of the Ideal Candidate.

Note that this does *not* eliminate the need to itemize our Conservative principles, it just means that we need to always keep our eye on the ball when it comes to supporting any individual candidate in any real-life election.

There is so Saint Conservative. There are only human beings. What we really need, and what the Tea Party movement may provide, is a growing roster of truly Conservative candidates so that we don't have to vomit and vote for McCain simply because we don't want a marxist in the White House.

I seriously doubt that most of them are REAL people, I figure that most of that roar is a bunch of fake online personalities chatting up Mitt & His Friends, and so you see..... that is why so much of it is simply so irrational, it doesn't make any sense in terms of religion & belief, but it does in terms of modern online marketing.

I wish it were possible to track these poseurs and publically identify the money behind these online shennanigans.

Oh paid bloggers is a certainty her on FR. Team Romney has been perhaps the most egregious transgressor, but there have been many others.

What is interesting is that their agendas become clear due to the repetitive nature of their arguments and the tone of their posts. If one pays attention they can see it rather quickly.
