Question for Palin Supporters. What will you do if Sarah does not win the '12 pub nomination?

I understand most Palin supporters have already handed her the '12 nomination, but a primary can be unpredictable and bruising. My question is, what will you do if for some reason Sarah does not win the '12 pub nomination? Stay home, vote 3rd party or support the nominee (if it is one of todays potential but established candidates)?

This is a "what if" question. If you don't have the capacity to contemplate a Palin primary loss then please find another thread on which to slobber and slander (although I seriously doubt this request will be honored).

"Slobbering would be unheaping praise on everything Palin does."

Yes, but it gets disgusting when you praise her for things she hasn't done.

What will you do when she wins, Bobby?

Nothing. Let her speak privately for the next 20 years promoting conservatism, the same way Goldwater and Reagan took their ideas to the road. I’ve met Palin personally, and she’s a bright woman. She’ll do what’s best - and that might mean not being straitjacketed by political obligations.

Anyone who would consider staying at home if a RINO is on the Republican ticket simply is not capable of comprehending the damage that Obama and his socialist allies in Congress can and will wreak on this country.

Voting for a RINO would ensure that the same destructive policies are in place and the same tepid fighting back against the Democrats.

You need to understand that Washington needs a total reboot. That's why you're seeing conservatives go after liberal Republicans like Scozzafava. I think now's the time to get out there and draw a sharp conservative contrast rather than promising to run liberalism better than liberals.

Would this hypothetical nominee be an actual conservative or another aisle-reaching liberal RINO in the Rudy McHuckaRomney mold?

“But I’m done voting for anyone who takes my vote for granted, done voting with the herd. It accomplishes nothing. If the eight years of Bush didn’t teach us that, nothing will.”

Bush was not a true conservative, but I would walk bare foot through 10 miles of snow to vote for him if he were opposed by Obama. And you should be willing to do the same.

If not, I would submit that you are not following current events closely enough to understand the socialistic radical transformation that Obama is attempting to implement.

I will under no circumstances vote for ANY candidate who is not firmly pro-life.

Period.

I've done it before and the results were disastrous.

I have found that a person's position on life defines every other issue. If they cannot be trusted to protect the most innocent of human life, then they cannot be trusted with any kind of power over any other human being.

Yep, I'm done playing games, I've held my nose too many times and it has NEVER worked out.

I will vote for the strongest pro-life candidate regardless of party and if there isn't one on the ballot I'll stay home.

I’ll do what I’ve said I would do and hace been doing for a long time.

Work hard in the priamary to get my candidate elected and then support whoever does win.

The candidate you work hard for must not be polling so well or you wouldn't find it necessary to post a vanity attempting to discredit her supporters as worshipers.

It appears that you are the one obsessed with Palin.

Simple, if the nomination is another conservative, I support and work for them. If not, if the GOP wants to continue the RINO trail ... I’ll sit this one out and will write a letter to each of my GOP candidates that COULD have received my vote and tell them why they wont be getting my vote this year.

What does “never working out” look like on your planet?

Absolutely. We have to castrate the President by cleaning out Congress. He can do only so much without Congressional approval. Congress is the key issue...not the President. Obama can spend his time vetoing everything that he doesn’t want, but he still won’t get it without Congress putting it through. FIRE THOSE BUMS! If they have been in office more than two terms...throw them out...limit their power. If they have grey hair and belong on a respirator, pitch them out the door. If they look like Pelosi, Boxer, etc send them home to go get more Botox. Congress is THE KEY!!

If it’s not Sarah or Michele Bachman or their equal; if it’s one of the same tired same old, same old, I’ll either write in or sit on my hands. NO MORE RINO POS’s, ever, period. No McRomney’s, no Rudy’s, no more not ever. You got a problem with that?

“Voting for a RINO would ensure that the same destructive policies are in place and the same tepid fighting back against the Democrats. “

You’re wrong and apparently have not been following events closely enough to understand just how radical Obama is. In my opinion, anyone here who believes that Romney vs Obama represents a difference of degree rather than a difference of kind is deluding themselves. Obama is the real article - a true communist who has done a reasonably good job of hiding it so far.

“You need to understand that Washington needs a total reboot. That’s why you’re seeing conservatives go after liberal Republicans like Scozzafava. I think now’s the time to get out there and draw a sharp conservative contrast rather than promising to run liberalism better than liberals.”

It doesn’t matter whether you or I believe that Washington needs a total reboot. Of course it does. What matters is that we deal with the world as it is and not the way we would like it to be. What matters is optimizing the end result and focusing on real events in the world and what the actual probable outcomes might be.

You’re right. I’ll do a 180 and from now on depict to her worshippers as supporters.

I say let’s not wait to find out who the nominee is. Let us conservatives become precinct committee chairs and captains and have some say on nominee.
