Sarah Palin made her position on illegal immigration known tonight in an radio interview with Rusty Humphries show. At the 11.00min mark in the interview Gov Palin states that we need to close the Southern border. She said that they are called illegal for a reason and if they can not follow the rules they do not need to be in this country.

From the description, it doesn’t sound too promising: everyone says they want to secure the border. The real question is whether she’d support “guests” and CIR or whether she’d support attrition.

Also, saying “they’re called illegals for a reason” isn’t incompatible with a massive “guests” program and CIR. Those who support the latter like to pretend that “guests” and CIR would reduce the amount of illegal immigration. Obama doesn’t want to give UHC to IAs, he just wants to - presto-chango - legalize them first, then give them UHC. And so on.

It’s pretty simple I ratched that one down to the simple answer because its an easier answer than some politicians want it to make it be. you close the borders. You get more agressive about cracking down on the illegal aliens and we take it serious what our border patrol officers are trying to do
