Honestly, I expect more intelligence on this site.
Imagine being at DHS or the US State Department and receiving a letter like this:
ATTENTION: Dear Sir/Madam in United States Department of Homeland Security,
Allow me to introduce myself.
I am Dr. Umaru Abdul Mutallab. I am the retired chairman of the First Bank of Nigeria. I have the courage to Crave indulgence for this important warning believing that you will never let me down or those travelers in your great country, especially to the City of Detroit, either now or in the future.
I am concerned very much over the welfare of my beloved son Mr.Abdul Farouk Abdulmutallab, as I have the suspicious that he is in the entanglement of the dreaded extremist fundamentalist Al Qaeda network. It is one thing to be devout as everyone should strive to be. It is another to take up the cry to kill infidels all over the world.
This is the more troubling as my son has the prospects for a good career in Engineering, and is even in London studying for a job within this field. Perhaps the connection to engineering is what attracted the Al Qaeda to him as they felt he would attract less suspicion.
I do not understand, our family is very important and he has no need to carry on like William Ayers in the United States.
Please be aware of my son if he should fly to your country that I do not feel he should be flying in such bad company.

Anyone receiving a notification of this sort would likely either deep-six it thinking "Nigerian scam, I wonder when he's going to hit me up for a wire transfer" or "Duchy of Grand Fenwick" (The Mouse that Roared).
I feel for the guy, but it doesn't seem like anyone took him seriously in time.
I apologize if my posts seem so negative that I've given up. I never give up, especially if something as important as the future of my own country is at stake. This fight has to be won in every household, in every city and town accross the nation, one family at a time. But the fight isn't over politics, it's about a return to God, to Jesus Christ, Who will in turn bring back peace and sanity to America. I have seen with these two eyes of mine that as we, as a nation, have gradually abandoned our faith, we have steadily lost our freedoms and 'inalienable' rights. Where God has been bannished His rival has stepped in to take over.
If Christians are bold enough to stand up for what we believe, (as Sarah Palin does), all accross the country, then the politicians will be forced to run from the Light like the cockroaches they are. They feel more powerful today than ever because they have forgotten who gave them their power, and we have forgotten Who gave us our power. But the likes of Obama, Pelosi, Frank, Reid and the others will scatter like ants when the good people of America rise up and reclaim what is 'inalienably' ours, freedom, power over government, and most importantly, GOD.

What I don’t understand is why they failed at all three agencies to enter Abdulmutallab’s name on the no-fly list. Maybe one or in an extreme case two of them didn’t but for all three to fail to enter his name is a concerted effort and I would venture to say a conspiracy. Impeach zero and fire all the rest.
In Tampa, I believe TSA recruits from list provided by mental health care providers in the local area. Of course, I could be wrong, it could be that a hiring supervisor has been hiring buddies from group therapy. Not that I am against these people finding meaningful, useful employment, but I know a couple of TSA employees that are way out on the edge and IMHO should NOT be responsible for screening airline passengers.

Whew! You were starting to worry me - since I did interpret your comments to be on the negative side.
I do agree about returning to God. However, like I said, God helps those who help themselves. Meaning .. God turned the earth over to us and He expects us to take care of it and establish the rules of governing it.
Unfortunately, we Christians have allowed the liberals to have their way for far too long. While I agree we should turn the other cheek in some instances, the liberal media has pounded and pounded the Christians until they have recoiled into their homes .. keeping their faith .. but not sharing it.
Before the Christians can become functional again in America, we must elect people who will stop assaulting the Christian way of life; and people who will do everything they can to stop the constant encroachment of the liberal mantra. No more electing Catholics who support abortion.
WE MUST VOTE!!
We can no longer hide in our homes and expect God to carry the whole load - HE WILL SUPPORT US IF WE GET UP OFF OUR BLESSED ASSURANCE AND TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK.
And .. whenever somebody tells us we shouldn’t be involved in politics (because it’s so corrupt), we need to just turn the other cheek and continue on in our pursuit of clean government. We can achieve this if we are willing to stand up to those we elect and hold them accountable for their actions - and that includes the wayward media.
Will this be easy ..?? HELL NO! If it was easy we would have done it already. But, I believe the timing is perfect for this revolution - not back to the stone age, but forward to better government.

TSA gets their pick from the from the wal-mart parking lot security rejects who wouldn't fit in the patrol cart....drum roll
the only reason the TSA gatekeepers passed their training is because they have so much experience shaking people down as they leave the super market ...drum roll
the real reason TSA screeners ask people to take their shoes off is because its been so long since they've seen their shoes they forgot what shoes look like....cymbal
