The Soldier
If I should die, think only this of me: That there's some corner of a foreign field That is forever England. There shall be In that rich earth a richer dust concealed; A dust whom England bore, shaped, made aware, Gave, once, her flowers to love, her ways to roam; A body of England's, breathing English air, Washed by the rivers, blest by suns of home. And think, this heart, all evil shed away, A pulse in the eternal mind, no less Gives somewhere back the thoughts by England given; Her sights and sounds; dreams happy as her day; And laughter, learnt of friends; and gentleness, In hearts at peace, under an English heaven.

Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our
AWESOME
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen for todays activities.
The DC Metroland weather report
~ Today....Scattered snow flurries and snow showers this morning. Becoming partly cloudy later. Temps nearly steady in the low to mid 30s. Winds WNW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 30%.
~ Tonight....Clear to partly cloudy. Low 23F. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph.
Woke up to about an inch & half of snow. Enough to cover the vehicles and ground. Main roads were in good shape.
Unbelievable - our county closed schools. I wonder why? I mean places like West Virginia, which got more than us, had only a 2 hour delay. Wimps, I think.
Time for me to make my rounds. But, you stay right where you are. Don't touch that dial. Don't change that channel. Put down that remote. Don't leave the room. Keep your eyes on your monitor. Cause...............I'll be bock!
Now remember, the Canteen is ALWAYS
So, come on in and sit for a while. There's always plenty of coffee, pancakes, conversation, silliness, and plain old BS

Good morning beachy and (((HUGS))) to you. I know spring is not too far away.
It is really cold here today and the ut horn fans are really cold today. They are whining like babies. I think I will buy some cheese for their whine. Just like the FR thread with this as the last line. I guarantee the poster of the thread has never been near the “dirty dozen” at any ut home game when the horns win.
‘Bama’s QB McElroy gives an upside down horns sign at the end of the game, as if he really did something special. I am willing to bet that no UT player would have made a derogatory gesture had they won - only horns signs would have been seen.
