The Barack Obama Nationality Question Heats Up
Big News ^ | January 9, 2010

Posted on 01/09/2010 9:32:07 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

President Barack Obama's nationality scandal is gathering speed and refusing to go away now that Congress has got involved.

There have been rumbles of unrest around the world regarding Obama's nationality since the day he stated he would run for the presidency. Now, after more than a year as president of the USA, the rumbles have turned into a full on eruption.

The Barack Obama nationality scandal is refusing to burn itself out and seems to be gathering even more speed with Congressman Nathan Deal questioning the eligibility of Obama to hold the presidency. This is the first time in history that a serving president has been questioned about eligibility by a member of congress.

Over the last week the internet has been reporting this story with the blogosphere almost going into meltdown over the latest developments yet no mainstream media seem interested in the story that just won't go away for Obama.

Congressman Deal asked the president to prove that he is legally entitled to hold the presidency electronically on December 1st 2009. This communication was confirmed received by Obama's staff but has yet to be responded to.

Even though the president has already produced his short-form birth certificate in order to stop these questions, he has spent a large amount of taxpayers money (estimated to be more than two million dollars) ensuring that the long-form certificate is kept from the public - an action that has raised more than a few eyebrows along the way.

Throughout the campaign trail and longer, Obama made promises of the most transparent administration than any other so why the need to hide a simple birth certificate? Many claim that the whole situation is a complete waste of time and distracting but supporters of the question refuse to stop asking more and more questions.

It seems that the original question seems to have caused a stir not just in America but worldwide with thousands of people doing independent research in an attempt to get the facts out. The problem with independent research is that it is hard to verify where the alleged facts came from and when they are traced back it's not unusual to find that it stemmed from opinion.

With several birth certificates doing the rounds, many proven as hoaxes, the 'official' birth certificate in the Obama nationality scandal seems to prove that the president was in fact a British Subject at birth. On the website dedicated to protecting Obama from smears, Fight The Smears, there is an electronic copy of the birth certificate showing that Obama was born a British Subject. This in itself has been the cause for much speculation on how, why and when nationality was transferred.

Obama's nationality scandal doesn't seem to be going anywhere at the moment and even the Secret Service seem to be taking an interest in anyone questioning Obama's nationality with visits being made for security reasons. Reported last week at Mother Jones, more and more people who have raised issue are being visited by the Secret Service and being left feeling very intimidated.

No matter what side of the fence you sit on this scandal seems set to stay around for a long time to come.

Seriously Lucysmom ... How could Obama afford tuition, books, room & board, etc at Ivy League Columbia and Harvard Universities?

You're asking how a black man could afford tuition &etc to Columbia and Harvard? In the late 70's/early 80's? Does the term 'Affirmative Action' mean anything to you? Or how about 'minority quotas'? That ring any bells? That's why all this nonsense about how Obama must have gotten financial aid from a foreign country to afford school just cracks me up. My God, he would have had private colleges falling all over themselves to throw money at a qualified African/American student just to get him to come to their school.

Sure, there is Affirmative Action and minority scholarships and all the like. First of all, no one has made any specific claim about BHO being a scholarship student except at The Punaho School. More importantly, scholarship is a moot point in graduate professional schools. Right now, the annual cost of a Harvard Law student is well past $50K. The only “scholarship” program they have is a relatively new program that gives partial reduction for those in public service, and they’re getting rid of it as we speak.

Bottom line, there is no way that BHO, if unassisted, could have graduated from Harvard Law School without a mountain of debt. Since he never seemed to have enough income to come anywhere near to paying off this debt, it is safe to assume that someone (Khalid Masoud?) picked up the tab.

Who the hell said anything about his being a poor “black man”?

Why do you Libs only see people in terms of black and white?!

If he received free tuition for his skin color, he would have held himself up as a success story of Affirmative Action. He has not.

Likewise, if Obama was a Rhodes Scholar or something similar, like ‘ol Slick Willie, Obama's publicists would have screamed it from the highest hilltops when he ran for office back in Illinois.

No — SOMEONE paid for Obama’s education, and it wasn't him.

Now you're catching on! Trust but verify.

So how did you verify that Obama had Indonesian citizenship and was/is a Muslim?

Stephen Pidgeon mentioned it happening in letter to Glenn Beck, which is interesting, as no proof has been shown. Unless the lawyers are keeping some things close...

WHO paid for Obama's college Ivy League education at Columbia and Harvard. Those aren't exactly cheap schools ...

I don't know about Obama, however a friend's son's education is being paid for by scholarships, money from family, money he's earned from summer jobs, and student loans. My friend says her son has to keep his grades above a B in order to continuing qualifying for his scholarships. She also says the school doesn't keep track of where the money comes from, only that fees have been paid.

It’s believed to be Rashid al Khalidi via 2 Saudi princes.

Most probably same and other elements in the Middle East who illegally donated campaign funds for Zero filtered through a money laundering scheme and what he’s using paying top law firms dealing with the numerous eligibility lawsuits.

Has it even been verified Obambi attended Columbia the whole time on campus or was he abroad at some point doing correspondence courses?

Consider that it would have to been said/videoed in 2004. So five years for the info to float around.

In a world where you can find television clips from shows canceled in the 70’s, there's zero sane reason to argue that somehow this video exists, but is being hidden or suppressed.

A person would have to argue that:

-No one on the entire frickin’ Internet apparently saved a copy over those several years.
-Not one of BHO’s challengers in the primaries got it and leaked it out early in the game or at any time for that matter.
-Not one conservative pundit ever got a copy to show or leak.
-Keyes had this video and never put it forward at any point in time, let alone in the course of his efforts to pursue legal action.

It would have been a serious smoking gun. What rational reason would there be to not circulate it early and often if it existed?

At this point in the game, what could there possibly be to save it for?

The only reason to believe that it exists is to fulfill an emotional need.

Linus has the Great Pumpkin. Some birthers have this video.

Maybe I'll start calling it The Great Video.

I agree with you. I think that most of us who have investigated this video have been unable to sunstantiate the claims about it. It is important that we be quite certain that any allegation that is made be supported by solid evidence. Don’t want to give the enemy any way to attack us.

The bigger point is that, questions of standing aside, our legal system requires that to be successful one has to go to court with more than "it's believed", "how could", and "has it even been verified".

I'm not saying the questions aren't legitimate, just that court is not the appropriate place to go for answers. The Constitution has a process for investigating and removing a sitting president, something we should all have learned from the Clinton years.

I have asked this "AFTER-BIRTHER" a few times for her motives of spamming these threads, which so far she has refused to answer!

I have answered your question, you just don't like the answer.

Here it is again; if you want to uphold the Constitution, then it is incumbent on you to use constitutional means to do it. It is not enough to BELIEVE Obama is not a legitimate president, it must be proved, and until it is proved, he IS the president. Congress, not the courts is the Constitutional venue for addressing and investigating questions of Obama's legitimacy.

From being an anti-birther, we now see that she is also an anti-Bush poster!!!

Noting that Bush's grades were not good enough to earn him a scholarship is being anti-Bush? What kind of logic is that?

Birther logic, I guess.

Ms. "AFTER-BIRTHER," you call us "BIRTHERS" which means life which we are proud of!

As a "mother" you should be able to recognize what's in the pan alias you an "AFTER-BIRTHER" that is a dead organ called Placenta!!

So regardless of your death you are continuing to speak from the pan, (post # 237) it's like listening to someone from a "Word-Salad" which is totally meaningless!!!
