Democrats tonight announced that they will likely ram Obamacare through the US Senate using the reconciliation process. This would allow democrats to nationalize one-sixth of the US economy wiith only 51 Senate Democrats voting for the bill. Bloomberg reported:
Even if Democrats lose the special election to pick a new Massachusetts senator Tuesday, Congress may still pass health-care overhaul through a process called reconciliation, a top House Democrat said.
That procedure requires 51 votes rather than the 60 needed to prevent Republicans from blocking votes on President Barack Obama’s top legislative priorities. That supermajority is at risk as the Massachusetts race has tightened.
“Even before Massachusetts and that race was on the radar screen, we prepared for the process of using reconciliation,” Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, said.
“Getting health-care reform passed is important,” Van Hollen said in an interview on Bloomberg Television’s “Political Capital with Al Hunt,” airing this weekend. “Reconciliation is an option.”
Should Democrats take that route, the legislation would have to be scaled back because of Senate rules.
He also said he expects Democratic Senate candidate Martha Coakley to win in Massachusetts.
Van Hollen said Republican predictions that the political climate had changed so much that they can capture the 40 seats needed to regain control of the House was “pure hallucination.”
More… Martha Coakley’s internal poll for Thursday night showed her trailing Scott Brown by three points — 47 to 44 percent.

Let them......a number of analysts have already stated that if the Dems are brazen and foolish enough to do so, 1) the rage in this conutry will be near violent proportions and 2) the Dems will near ensure that they will go near-extinct or for years to come they will feel they have.
Well, election laws don't permit someone to take the place of another within 53 days of an election and that didn't stop Frank Lautenberg for taking The Torches place in NJ and winning.

We are all realizing there is something much more sinister going on here that Obamacare. This is a RAT party begging the country to start a revolution. These MF’s must be stopped at all costs. They are defying the will of over 65 percent of the voting population of the U.S.A. They will pay and they will pay dearly.
And the left wing “elites” are to make all the big decisions for us.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they ram it through this weekend so BO can do his “magic” on MLK day.
They’re projecting “Look folks, no need to vote the Republican. We’re going to push the bill through regardless of his vote, so you might as well vote for the Democrat”.
If Scott Brown wins, how certain is it that there are 51 Senators who will now vote for it? Just saying...
We are talking about Senate rules, and the gang of 14 including McCain (the RINOS ironically) set a precedent on judge confirmations that those moderate democrats will not break to pass this bill. It’s rare, but talk radio was wrong, and RINOs were right about changing the rules.
If Brown wins big, the rats bluff will be called. They will either rush to ram something through, or they will self destruct like a unsupervised kindergarten picnic. Either way it could be political suicide for the marxist revolution.

No they haven't "announced a plan" to do that.

If Brown wins, no way are there gonna be 218 votes in the House for this bill.
The issue of passing it in the Senate won't arise, because it won't be able to pass the House.
