Yeah, her first “misstep” was being a lying, pandering, rabid leftist.

I LOVE IT! Best idea I've read all day.

Something doesn’t add up here.If Hussein’s Politburo thinks that Coakley will lose why did he come here? If he comes and she loses he’s substantially damaged. The more logical thing would be for him to stay home and then, once she’s skunked, his pals talk about what a lousy candidate she was or about how Republican lawyers stole it fair and square.

Could it be that Zero is in a panic? This is a bit different from the governor races. His flagship of health care is riding on this election. If it goes down his legacy is below that of Carter and he knows it. So he is driven to act now. It is to the point of "all in" for him.

He had to make a showing, His big mistake early on was not putting a leash on leaders of the house and senate. I’m starting to think this reform bill is not really what he had in mind and did’t do enough to control its direction in the first place.
Traditionally, a newly elected COC gets a pass on legislation early in their first term. Look what they grudingly gave GW, big tax cuts and the vote to take out Saddam H. But GW had to give back in order to pass it. Thats where we got those huge spending bills. BO read the sitch all wrong and gave nothing to the pubs. Thought himself as a god and let his ego guide him. Called them the party of NO, berated them ang ignored them in crafting healthcare reform. AS I recall the dems started being the party of NO with GW. Now he is in a fight for the moment that defines his presidency and may be losing the battle.

With all the hub-bub regarding scheduling the State of the Union address, I suggest the White House go with the February 2 season premier of “LOST” and let it substitute for the State of the Union address, as well.

Because if he didn’t go, they would say it was his fault. He had no choice. Just like when he wasn’t going to go to Copenhagen until the wookie saw they didn’t have it in the bag. They thought if he showed up it would make them win. They failed to see that when the empty suit shows up, people no longer give a damn.

While I really hope this is the case, my sense is that most things that come out of this White House are like the dictates of the “Ministry of Truth” in 1984 - everything is the opposite of what they say.

If Brown wins, do you suppose we could fill billboards close to Bayh’s offices with “BYE BYE BAYH!” signs on Wednesday....*add a little “you’re next” in smaller number under it.....Might shake him up a bit!

I see the White House is going with the old spin that it’s the candidate and not a reflection on O’s policies/

It all started in Mass. with his "behaving stupidly" remark.

Maybe the health care bill is already in trouble and he’s looking for a scapegoat. He can always blame her then when the legislation fails. Just a thought.

Can you believe the arrogance of the moderator’s statement that it’s ‘Ted’ seat? Just imagine if we didn’t have the internet or talk radio. I still think Bambi’s and the ballerina’s biggest error is, they should have tackled radio first. To bad for them, the word won’t be stifled.

We promptly call every Senate RAT up in 2010 and 2012: “you are next.” Can”t wait to call mine.

What an ass Nelson was to stupidly climb out on the branch and only to wreck his own political career as a consequence. He ruined my Christmas, so I couldn’t be happier.

Dem House members are all up in November and will be put on suicide watch.

So true, yet it we also have to consider that Obungle truly does live in "Never, Never" land.

But yeah, the move doesn't make sense from that perspective other than they'd really like to keep this seat. Failing to bring the bill to a vote before Tuesday's results has an impact and being compelled to pass the vote via reconcilliation brings other consequences that would make life very much like hell for all democrats.
