If nothing else, in the subtext of his litany of complaints directed at incompetent Democrats, Jon Stewart does an excellent job pointing out the poetic justice of a Brown win. Nothing could be sweeter than seeing ObamaCare die with an out-of-nowhere Divine Intervention win of Ted Kennedys seat

This smarmy jerk is an idiot.
51 years old.
I have been active in politics since I was 18.
This -— I will remember forever!
Jonathan Stuart Leibowitz is a pathetic little putz. His face on TV makes me change the channel, just like that other putz, Gerald-O.
What a pathetic little weasel.
How embarrassing.
How sweet it is!
I dunno, he does a pretty darn good job of laying it out—just how badly the dems and Obama have pratfallen. Whatever his feelings on the matter.
I get the impression that Martha actually did all too good a job at winning the primary. She jumped into the race within days of Ted’s demise, getting ahead of all other contenders who were respectfully awaiting the widow Vicki’s decision on whether or not to run. Once she was the dem contender the Kennedy’s had no choice but to back her. She mistakenly thought it was in the bag after that.
I read that Obama had no choice but to put his oar in because Bill Clinton was stumping for Martha and would have trumpeted that it was all his doing if Martha won.

Yes, I made some mistakes in the campaign...
I should have posed nude and shown my two big ones...
This guy is a huge hit with my teenage stepdaughter and her mush-for-brains friends. ‘Splains a lot about teenagers.
I thought it was funny. He mentioned the Coakley thug pushing over the reporter, something the MSM somehow failed to do. Compared to the MSM, Stewart is an objective journalist. I realize that’s not saying much.
I’ve tried to watch Stewart several times — he just isn’t funny!
Only Keith Olbermann and Rachel Madcow have him beat in terms of nastiness, narcissism and lunacy.
I hope he blows a gasket.
I gotta say, that was funny.

There is nothing new about this. Ever hear about Will Rodgers? Here are a couple good quotes from the 1930s and 40s.
Ancient Rome declined because it had a Senate; now what's going to happen to us with both a Senate and a House?
Be thankful we're not getting all the government we're paying for.
Our constitution protects aliens, drunks and U.S. Senators..
I belong to no organized party. I am a Democrat.
Political satire is about as old as politics. Our problem is that our political satirists either dont get on TV or that they are not as good at making jokes about the Dims.
