That is different than "chosen".
You seem to see an absolute dichotomy
where I don’t believe God sees one.
I have no idea how God is going to work all those parameters out regarding Israel.
Certainly the 144,000 accept Christ and are His Witnesses.
And, I’ve read a fellow living in Israel who insists that the percentage of Messianic Jews now approaches the percentage that God told the OT prophet had not yet bowed to Baal.
I don’t know how God is going to work those issues out.
I believe the Bible—ALL THE BIBLE—whether it always fits my linear logic, or not. I trust God with those mysteries.
I just know that The Jews ARE God’s Chosen.
That HE IS NOT REMOTELY FINISHED WITH THEM AS HIS CHOSEN; AS CHILDREN OF ABRAHAM, ISAAC AND JACOB.
That Salvation is through Christ alone.
That God seems to make a distinction between the Church of Jesus Christ as represented by the thrones of His Disciples vs the Children of Jacob as represented by the thrones of the Patriarchs.
That Christians are GRAFTED into the CHOSEN JEWISH NATION vs the other way around.
That our INHERITANCE THROUGH CHRIST OF ABRAHAM’S BLESSINGS affords us all those blessings—AS ABRAHAM’S SEED BY ADOPTION, BLOOD BROTHERS THROUGH CHRIST’S BLOOD.

Some folks claim there’s more than 60 ORTHODOX RABBIS in Israel who secretly believe in Jesus as their Messiah.

I know Jewish people who love Christ and serve Him just as we are called to. God is opening the eyes of some of these people to see that the Messiah they have sought has indeed come and will be coming again...and they have accepted Him as their Messiah.... There are some Jewish Christians on FR. as well.
Throughout the ages God has always reserved a remnant, a selected group of Jewish people, despite the armies He brought against them for their disobediance then, and He does so to this day as well..... Because... the covenant God made to Abraham/Israel of was NOT conditional...He would always reserve a remnant, Just as He promised to Abrabham that He would.
If you check the Hisory of the Covenants God made with Israel you will find some were ‘conditional’ covenants others were not. So It’s important one understands these in relation to how Israel stood then, now ,and will in the future.
So there is today a remnant of Believing Jewish people who have accepted Jesus as their Messiah...and they are indeed a pleasure to know...and there will be more to come up until that day.

Dear Dr.North, I have always viewed your other posts and respected your opinion and that which you’ve given others because you have always supported that with scripture or at the very least a strong arguement. But as far as I’ve gotten on this thread I have not seen that...this doesn’t seem like you at all....I’m hoping as I get to the end of this thread I will see you has I’ve seen you on other threads..unless of course if it’s someone else posting here using you name?????
