I had to turn it off...I couldn’t watch and listen anymore. I have never in all the years I’ve watch SOTU speeches heard so much hatred for his opposition than I have heard from the mouth of a president. No only has he openly bad-mouthed the Republican side, he went after the Supreme Court. Has a President ever in the history of this Country, publically condemned a decision of the Supreme Court in a SOTU speech? I hope the Republicans gain control of the Congress and impeach Obama’s ass. It will be great to see Justice Roberts presiding over Obama’s impeachment trial in the Senate.

What an idiot...he’s even pushing health care again. I wish the Republicans would have stood up and chanted “41” “41” “41” “41”!

Finally over and I cannot wait until the GOP and Krauthammer have their turn to rebut all we’ve heard. Slick indeed but the man never stopped campaigning while he accused others of starting to campaign earlier than usual. He took himself above the fray throughout as if to say its not only Bush’s fault but all of Washington.

One positive, Obama called for a “new generation of nuclear energy” and also investments in “clean coal”. That’s a major change.

Of the many negatives, he mentioned teaching muslim communities world wide science, but what’s he doing for christian communities?

He scolds both parties for being in permanent campaign mode, after just re-hiring his campaign staff and gives this stump speech. He really is a loathsome piece of work.
He makes Clinton look like a straight-shooter.

Thank God it's over. For the last few minutes of his speech, when he reeled off a rambling list of platitudes and exhortations, there was a very eerie hush in the audience, as in, where is he going with this. Then he wrapped it up with "God bless America."

Overall, the tone was disturbing. Our worst suspicions have been confirmed.
