Just felt here ih Willow Creek
6.0 http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsww/Quakes/nc71348851.php
I had a real small tremor down here this morning...but nothing showed up on any maps.
Is that on the Cascade fault line? Seems near the southern end..That’s the one that everyone worries about..potential for an 8.4, and a BIG tsunami..
We were closer. LOL
Did you feeel a bump...?
It usually does.
Be prepared, but don’t be afraid.
2 Timothy 1:7 “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
Living in fear stinks.
Plus, you can be a rescuer instead of a rescuee, because you were prepared, and were not petrified with fear.
Wow, the San Andreas fault is really rockin’ and rollin’.
it texts each time one is reported anywhere
There has been an awful lot of activity since the full moon
You can really see how the plates shift on one side and then the other
It's a free app called .. Earthquake
.
These are traces which contributed to the calculation of the ShakeMap for this event.
Mendocino Triple Junction

The Mendocino Triple Junction is a geologic triple junction where the San Andreas Fault meets the Mendocino Fault and the Cascadia subduction zone, separating three tectonic plates: the Pacific Plate, the North American Plate and the Gorda Plate. It is located just offshore of Cape Mendocino in northern California[1].

According to this, it seems more of the northern end of San Andreas fault

Naw, we are way up on the Central Oregon Coastline.
Just one of the pingettes on BDee list and was living in Cali when the quake hit in 89 SanFran bay area.
Grew up in the east bay and shakes were quiet the norm in the spring when I was a kid playing out in the street.
Last busy small quake swarm (felt) I remember was 1979-80.
Had to offshore up here in Oregon that were felt but that was about a decade ago.
USGS just pinged again. Be right back.
Every time we get a good jolt here, I go, Oh crap , is this THE BIG ONE .. The 9.0 plus .. gulp
but usually in a few seconds you can guage how deep the kimchi is you are standing&swaying in..
tornado, earthquake, hurricane, tsunami ??
If I had to pick one as the fate dejeur
at least a earthquake leaves it all in one pile..
Whoops...thought that was going to be smaller...
I think two or three plates junction around there somewhere .. It’s been chirpin pretty good there for awhile and definitely has potential to be a major coastal event .. again..
Damn it does that alright....I think I would rather be blown away from the pile.....
Sides that you may have a hint something is coming to ruin your day!
Well, if it’s the BIG ONE , it will be the savior of Las Vegas..all those foreclosed homes will be beachfront property...
