WASHINGTON, D.C. - A stung U.S. Sen. Scott Brown lashed out at U.S. Rep. Patrick Kennedy today for insulting his landmark win by calling his candidacy “a joke.”
Brown said Kennedy’s remarks are “mean spirited,” especially coming on the day he was celebrating being sworn into office.
“I was elected and the votes are certified and I’m here to do my job. It’s unfortunate that he would use mean-spirited comments like that at a time when we’re just trying to solve the problems of the Commonwealth,” Brown said today on his first full day on the job.

Brown’s responses which are sometimes humorous, and always spot on, remind me of Reagan. If he ever decided to run for president, he would be formidable.

I’ve got to ask, though... what is the deal with Kennedy’s suit/shirt? I’m no expert on men’s fashion, but I am pretty sure the entire shirt cuff isn’t supposed to hang out of the suit jacket.... You would think a guy whose whole career is built from hanging onto someone else’s coattails would understand the importance of a well tailored jacket.
OMG ... I just read through the replies here and now I realize that’s a REAL photo of Hottie Scottie and Patches. I thought it was Photoshopped! It’s such a cliche’ — Brown looks so great and pulled-together, and beside him, Kennedy looks like he crawled out of the rag bag. Amazing.
I checked Senate.gov, Brown's page is not up yet, as of this morning. :(

The Kennedys are sore losers, pure and simple. Their sense of entitlement is amazing. Hope this is truly the end of the Kennedy ‘dynasty’. I did like JFK Jr., he seemed to be more of his mother’s son than anything like his father.
maybe Patches is showing off some preppy style that ordinary folk wouldn’t know about......
I thought that only 15 yr olds in the midst of a growth spurt could wear a suit jacket with so much of the shirt sleeves showing..... ha ha but I’m no fashionista -— I barely remember how to tie my tie for the occasional wedding or funeral, and haven’t bought a new suit in quite a few years!
