A key U.S. Food and Drug Administration Advisory Committee recommended today that protection against the 2009 H1N1 virus, which was first identified last April, be included in the 2010-2011 seasonal influenza vaccine starting this fall. That means that, barring some unforeseen circumstance, this fall, most Americans will be able to return to the traditional routine of having one flu vaccine to protect them against the major circulating flu viruses. As is always the case with seasonal vaccine, younger children who have never had a seasonal vaccine will still need two doses.

I wouldn't listen to or believe a single thing that comes from the propaganda of these socialist bastards or any federal gubmint agency at this time. 35,000 people die every year from regular flu compared to a tiny sub-fraction of swine flu fatalities, and yet the politically correct thing for the gubmint (and the hi-tech corporation I work for) is to refer to this in dire, apocalyptic terms as a "pandemic"!
My corporation just announced that everyone will now get a free H1N1 swine flu shot which they are now giving in the cafeteria. Oooooo sounds scary! Baloney! I blew that so-called "freebie" off!

In OLDER people, sure - at least according to the CDC, which reports on such statistics here.
But, the H1N1 killed more people aged 18-64 than the seasonal flu ever does in that same age group. It also claimed the lives of babies and adolescents at a much greater rate than the normal seasonal flue. It was a pandemic. There's just no other way to describe it.
ummm it’s just another flu virus that we can be vaccinated against. If your doctor feels you are at risk for the flu, you should be protected from as many viruses as possible. I once got the flu, ended up with pneumonia and ended up in the hospital and I’m not very young or old.

My Mom, who is a healthcare worker, was told by her doctor to not take the H1N1 vaccine due to past incidences. Her employer made it MANDITORY to take this vaccine.
She came down with the flu within 24 hours.
That would make 2 years in a row. Because Sibelius and company have put all their eggs in the H1N1 basket, I can't even find a "regular" flu vaccine now.
Secondly (and back on the ODS syndrome, but moreso the totalitarian, socialist, one-world, cultish type mentality) I am always amazed at how everything that emanates from the marxist-liberal-socialist agenda always has the aura of pending apocalyptic disaster if something isn't done RIGHT NOW!!! As I said before, Ooooooo scary!!! From the population bomb (late 60's & 70's), the coming ice age (70's), every eonomic crisis & disaster ONLY when Republicans are in charge or when the demoRATs want to pass another socialist takeover, the global warming scam (2000's), etc, etc, etc. Socialism cannot exist without a pending crisis somewhere, somehow, and personally I believe this includes the H1N1 hoax. So I won't criticize (at least openly) someone for taking it, and you don't criticize me when I think it is tailor made for 0bozo socialism & the rush of similar stupid corporations (like mine that I work for) to hop on the politically correct train and take "somber" steps to head off the "pandemic" hoax.
And BTW, I'm 56 with an open heart mitrol valve repair and now a pacemaker as well. I won't put any more crap into my system that is endorsed by the commie pig 0bozo administration.
Her employer cannot legally force an employee to have something injected into their body. Not sure what all the situation is, but she did not have to do this and should have stood her ground. The employer would have had to back down. Do you think that this same employer would have the gall to require MUSLIM employees to take a swine (pig) flu vaccine? If they even thought about such a thing, CAIR would have turned that into a propaganda hysteria of discrimination against muzzzlims.
Interesting how they will be sure to sell this vaccine.

Another way to kill off a few of the old and sick, who cannot have the new flu shot, but had been taking the regular type.

People with emphysema cannot have the H1N1 flu shot, it is a flu of the lungs, the gov and doctors advised against it in the beginning of the scare.
Obama does not believe in medical treatment for seniors and he has already cut our social security.
So yes, I have a fearful future with him as president.
