Barack Obama is still struggling to kick smoking, according to his first medical examination since becoming president.
Obama is sensitive about his cigarette habit and tetchy with reporters who raise it. But after his 90-minute medical at the Navy hospital outside Washington yesterday morning, his doctors confirmed he had not yet managed to conquer the habit and suggested he "continue smoking cessation efforts".
The doctors also recommended "moderation of alcohol intake".

What a great role model for our youth. He drinks alcohol immoderately, smokes apparently uncontrollably and has been known to pick his nose in public. Man, talk about being a TOTAL FAIL...
Gee. This was unexpected.
That The One parties in the White House, with the booze flowing freely and lifted up by nicotine-stained fingers, is a beautiful thing, because it reveals that the messiah is just so real, and he's trying so hard, being the humble servant to the American people that he is.

How is it that the guy whose entire life history is a mystery, is all of a sudden releasing his medical information? Especially when he could legitimately hide behind ERISA laws. I smell a big, fat liberal, marxist rat!

My doctor is quizzical about my liver enzymes, but she hasn’t even asked me to moderate yet. And I drink over moderation ever since I retired.
One of the predictions that I suggested for Steve Dunham aka Barry Soetoro aka Barack Hussein Obama based on Bowen’s Fami;y System Theory is that he would revert under stress to his family dynamic pattern. And in his families that has been running away from difficult problems.
That ‘running away’ can be by physical separation and/or via alcohol. The model is well are established in the Dunham family viz Stanley Ann running away to the most distant foreign cultures, her Dad Stanley running from place to place — finally to Hawaii, and then to liquor, and even his nominal Dad the Kenyan — who ran away to alcohol, who ran away from a number of wives.
Obama’s comfort is to go to what is known. He seems to be in the channeling Frank Davis mode right now — demanding nature, cigarettes, booze, indulgences. But even that will not comfort him.
I think he’ll run. Become not only the first illegitimate President (possibly excepting Arthur) but the first run-away President.
And if he can’t run — he’ll drink or drug himself into a disabling dipsomania, that even all the PR lackeys in the world will not be able to long hide.
