President Barack Obama urged Congress Wednesday to vote "up or down" on sweeping health care legislation in the next few weeks, endorsing a plan that denies Senate Republicans the right to kill the bill by stalling with a filibuster. "I don't see how another year of negotiations would help. Moreover, the insurance companies aren't starting over," Obama said, rejecting Republican calls to begin anew on an effort to remake the health care system.

You know if I were producing a movie titled, “The Second U.S. Civil War,” the first scene would be the burning of Capitol building.
Think of the symbolism.
Their plan is to push it through. And then spend the next several months calming the voters down using the media to claim they’ve finally passed healthcare reform and now millions of Americans have healthcare.
They then will minimize damage by November and keep majorities in congress because the average American will buy the bullcrap hook, line, and sinker.
Just watch... The voters in this country are DUMB! They get mad, but they dont stay mad.

If it passes, I don’t think he’ll resign, because he will then have staged the coup he has dreamed of (called an autogolpe in Spanish, that is, a self-coup, where an elected individual suddenly seizes all the powers of government for himself).
If it fails, we’re going to have one sulky Bambi, and I bet he will resign and go on to be head of the UN.
